I have been watching the news as everyone else and I am filled with pride the way the people of San Diego have acted and jumped to the call of others in this time of sadness. Everyone who lives in the area should be proud!!Thank you to all!!!

I could not agree more. It shows how at the very core of humanity, we are (generally) caring, compassionate, loving, considerate, and concerned people who have a natural affinity for philanthropy.

Thanks again to all the firefighters, police men, and volunteers who helped San Diego come together and stick together like a family through this tough time. Makes me proud to be an American/San Diego resident.

All the people of California involved in this horrible tragedy deserve kudos.  We could all learn from them.  {Are ya listening, FEMA?}

After watching all the disasters of the past decade. I am really proud at how people stepped up and took things in their own hands. They really got things moving.

Granted we've had a bit of practice, but not to this degree.
I send out compassion to anyone who lost their home, as I have been through it before myself. Many thanks to those that have been there to help!

It's been very impressive to see how everyone has really stepped up to deal with this horrible situation. Everyone involved has a lot to be proad of. While I'm not a San Diego resident myself, I've been coming here for the last several years on vacation, and I salute all of you for the hard work you have done, continue to do, and the compassion that you've shown for your fellow man. You guys are the best.
