There has been some discussion on TER that management is making an effort to prevent phony reviews.  For a while there seemed to be a lot of new providers with a first review by a "guy" with no prior "track record" here.

I am aware of one new hobbyist who recently had his first review (of a long-time provider) rejected for unspecified reasons, but the implication seemed to be that he had no track record on TER.

New provider Sharon shows up here with two July reviews by two guys with:  1) no prior reviews, and 2) no posts on the local board or the General Discussion board.

Any of you vets think this is fishy?

TER does try to keep bogus or outdated reviews off the profiles.
I've known them to take them down if a guy waits 6 mos. and throws up 3+ at one time to get extra days. You can tell they aren't the real deal because he repeats the same review for each girl.
So I do know they try.

One the flip side of first time reviewers. A LARGE number of guys hobby and don't review or post at all.
If they meet a new girl and want to help her out. They may go about writing their first review.
We all have to start somewhere... doesn't always mean something is up.

My 2 cents..

I can understand an somebody who has been around the SD scene being cautious because of things that happened in the past.

I don't really have any alarms set off by this one because of the provider's general profile.

Jai makes some good points about the men.  I guess it's been years since I have posted a review.  I don't see as many ladies anymore because I have been doing more civi type dates and the occasional provider I see is generally well reviewed.  I have always tended to review ladies I see that have little or no reviews.  If they have a lot of current reviews I feel I don't have anything relevant to add.
