it must be a bad bird day? fillherup's been around longer than you - give him a break. unless this is a personal thing between you guys dating back to when you were moderator? if so, excuse my interuption.

You haven't contributed as much as fillherup has, so you're way off base attacking him for asking a fairly reasonable question. Before you start bashing and name calling, maybe you should do a little research yourself on who's asking the question.

This one does not fall into the category of 0 reviews/0 posts. If you don't feel comfortable giving out the information, then don't.

Since he's been around so long, it's a silly question to post and you guys know it!

I won't stand down on this one, ESPECIALLY for someone who HAS been around and should KNOW better.

There is the possibility that this is a spoofed alias as well.

Do a find message on the posting name/alias, going back 360 days, and you'll find four (as in after more than three and less than five) posts dating from 4/1/2004.

So, for someone who's been around a long time, I think you've got a spoofer here.

I personally have not heard of "Fillerup" myself as there are no reviews under his handle in his initial post. If there are reviews, then they were not linked to his handle on his post. Thus, one cannot quickly look him up and verify his background. Perhaps he is using an alias? Who really knows? That, I believe, may explain JBIRD's post. I am not necessarily excusing JBIRD's post (as I do not really know him any better either), but merely suggesting a logical explaination for it all. Nevertheless, we all make mistakes from time to time, so please don't start throwing rocks at him or anyone until the facts are known to all.

If "Fillerup" is indeed a VIP then he can either do a search or better yet, ask people to "PM" him back with the requested information. That has always been the standard procedure and response to people asking for information here. PERIOD.

One always assumes that the questioner has at least done his homework by performing a VIP search for the requested information. Of course, it is also assumed that someone understands this and is following these simple ground rules when posting here, which is not always the case. It really serves no real purpose to hang information out on the boards when it could be exchanged in private.  If someone sees a post of a "friend", then they should immediately post a tagline underneth so all know that it is indeed a friend and not a foe. Don't assume someone who reads your post is going to do an extensive research for every post you have made to verify your background to find out if you are indeed "friendly."  

"Fillerup", although I don't know you nor have I posted anything about you, please allow me to apologize on behalf of my fellow comrades here. No one means any ill will or malice, but are just extremely cautious when providing information to anyone they either do not know or does not have a whole slew of reviews under their handle for a simple verification. I hope you so kindly understand. Since you are not VIP, if you would please post your e-mail addy, then I am sure someone will respond with the information you are seeking. They simply do not like to post it on the open board for all to see.

As to the whole situation, we do need to be more civil around here as we are developing a reputation for San Diego which will make us the laughing stock of the TER Boards for flamin'people who ask questions about providers.

Enough said. End of story.

Jbird, if you're going to be flaming people then YOU need to do your research first. Yours and Fillherup's postings go back to 7 & 8 2001, and each of you has 8 PAGES of messages posted. And you don't deem Fillherup worthy of a respectful post?? Not everybody feels comfortable submitting reviews and you should respect that. It's unwarranted responses like you just did that drive this board into needless negativity.

I would have personally asked Fillherup's question differently, but he wasn't so far out of line to earn the response he got from you. Lighten up and save the flames for those who truly deserve it.

so spend the few buckaroonies to become a vip member and then search away. It's dollars well spent, and you'll not regret it.

If you need to buy a postal money order and send that along so you can lay low and stay discrete, do so.  But spend the money! Don't cheat TER.

On the topic of "too cheap" to buy a VIP membership.....I would be willing to bet that most of those who are too cheap are under the age of 50.  (Those of us who are older have seen a lot of the younger generation "cutting corners" in many different ways.)  If you have the money to partake of the hobby, you certainly have $200 a year to make sure this effort "stays afloat".  Would you also have taken a ride in a Titanic lifeboat and been "too cheap" to help row??  Even if one gets free time by posting reviews, why not do your part by paying some money, at least part of the time.

Gordo, that's my whole point!! We shouldn't act this way EVEN IF the person deserves it. Besides, who amongst us is going to make that determination if someone "deserves" it or not?? I don't know about you, but I don't think any of us is without fault to decide who gets flamed and who doesn't. Believe me, there is plenty of blame regarding this line of posts to go around to all concerned.

Look at that guy from L.A. several weeks ago ("wonhunglow"??) asking a similar question, perhaps he deserved it and perhaps he didn't, but who is to say?? Regardless, it didn't make it any more right to flame him. IMNFHO, no one really "deserves" it and I have seen some real questionable things posted on these boards too.  

I think we should just try to keep it real civil, that way at least we will be consistant and not look like a big group of dorks than we already are by others unfamiliar with us here on this board.

Going back 360 days, there are no posts prior to 4/1/2004.

Going back 720 days, there is a gap between the last post in 4/2003 and 4/2004.

So, I stand corrected that he has not been on the board prior to 4/2004.

That being said, I was not out of line totally. A reasonable search of posting (and I think a year is a reasonable search time) combined with the lack of reviews, especially considering the request was for information that is readily available by a provider search-my reply was not that out of line.

That being said, who among you will publicly post the information he has requested, since he has acknowledged he does not have VIP acces, which means he cannot be PM'd.

Fillherup, you might consider taking one for the team and seeing Tracey, the girl mentioned in the post below.

I'm not sure how often LE really posts with questions like yours, but the prevailing sentiment is that it's more often than any of us would like.  I guess a good analogy for the reaction you got would be that a non-VIP asking a detailed question is like the Rodney Dangerfield character in "Caddyshack."  You know, guest of the club, but happy to take advantage of all the amenities: "Give me six of these, a half dozen of those, a box of the naked lady tees, and whoa! Look at that!  Do you get a free bowl of soup with that hat?  It looks good on YOU, though!"

I'm sure it was nothing personal, Brother.  

And for the rest...guys, it's generally not wise to taunt a cop, which is what you may be doing by responding in a way that makes a poster feel unwelcome.

I found 16 local providers just by doing a specified search for what you are looking for.  I don't understand why the need for the question on the board...?

Ronnie and Michele are my favorites too -I hope you're not cheap with them. While JBIRDCA may have been out of line don't you think it's about time, for a mere $20 a month, you joined the rest of us. Many of us probably share your sentiment on some level about one activity or the other.  My wife won't do facials but she will swallow. Atleast I think she still swallows, it's been a really long time.  Ya know what really fuckin sucks (not her obviously) about this is that she gives tremendous head. I mean the kind that lifts you off the bed, the kind where if she's kneeling you're afraid you'll get carried away and damage her vocal chords.  I haven't been to tons of providers but the ones I've been with can't compare.  She used to love greek too. We nearly had a three-way with one of her friends.  I didn't actually fuck her friend but let's just say Bill Clinton would have been proud... I was the king of the world.

Well slowly but surely all those went away.  Now its mish or doggie with an occasional cowgirl when SHE needs to get laid.

I hate to even write about it because it just makes me feel that much more the fool.  Well thank god for bad-girls or I would be divorced right now and missing my kids.

So I don't know about you guys but the girl I married is not the girl I'm married to, luckily the girl I married is available for roughly $400 depending on the town I'm in.

how long this thread has gone.  I haven't even attempted to read most of them but it speaks volumes about the SD TER community.  A previous thread from an "out of towner" expressed the perceptions others have of us SD'ers.  Response... mere justifications.  I can only chuckle and see his point.  Are there any fire extinguishers nearby???
