The thing to do is just have loose plans for when you get there, a budget, and a start/end point for coming home. Then, hire a guide to adventure with. They'll be able to translate, show you all the cool local stuff, and generally make sure nothing bad happens to you.

I have been to Desire in Cabo & have memories that bring a smile to my face! I want to do something different. I have been to Sin City & partied, like a rock star. I have flown to NYC & had a epic evening. I have visited Jamaica & toured the entire island for a week adventure. I have never had to plan a 40th, so any help is greatly appreciated.

I would have to concur. Indonesia is a gem. Wether you want big busy city (Jakarta) or laid back simple living (Lombok, Gili) the culture is amazing. And then there is always Bali. Another recommendation and fav of mine is Prague. The Czech Republic is filled with architecture that would blow your mind. Very rich in history with lots to see and enjoy. Good luck on your search and where ever you choose I’m certain you will have a great time and many memories.
to suggest a double like many 40-year old guys would do. Getting into bed with two hot ladies proves 40 is just a number. Since you're hot, too, you might not have to pay if you tell them its your birthday. Me saying it didn't work. Lol
If you want to go somewhere, I like the Caribbean in the spring. Mild weather, ocean water relatively warm compared to other places. My specific suggestions would vary depending on what you like to do for fun. St; Barts for upscale relaxing colonial vibe, Mahogany Run on St. Thomas for golfing, Martinique for a touch of France on this side of the Atlantic. Atlantis in the Bahamas for water fun and working on your tan lines.
