Shouldn't discount be expected during economic hard times?I think it is wrong to ask. But cmon' then we could all use a break.

I have been offering discounts for the past few weeks, and no one has been taking me up on the offers.

Whats a girl gotta do??

I have reviews here under the name Drew =)

Right now you can see an amazing girl in Tijuana for $300 for 2 hours and be treated like a king. That's the best deal anywhere!!! Please see my post over on the Tijuana board.

SD Surfer619

or grandfather the original donation when rates increase, and I have seen some ladies offering reduced rates as you suggest, but this is up to each individual lady.

You may just have to adjust who you see or how often you see a lady during our current economic difficulties.

I'll be in SD in a couple of weeks, and I had hoped to see a few ladies there, but will probably only be able to see one....

So I can relate....

RocketMan36

RocketMan 36 has the right approach. I've been doing more research and looking for specials on my local board.

With the price of gas going up so sharply I'm not going for the higher end providers anymore. I look for a provider willing to stay within the 150 mark or lower to 100. I find that if I study the CL postings and track with TER reviews I'm able to hit on some decent providers willing to drop their prices that usually ask for 200 or higher. Even better if I'm regular they're more apt to give a discount. The supply of providers isn't going down but the cost of gas to get to the provider is going up.  I don't even bother with providers asking 200hh or up.

So until hard times are over(excuse the pun)I'm sticking with providers in the 150 or lower end range to take care of my hard times.

No you shouldn't get discounts at any time. If you don't have enough then you just don't play as often.

I just wonder how many of us in our business are passing on discounts,Lawyers? Doctors? Food? Education? Airtravel?.Sooo, when you want to eat out and don't have the money do you save up and then go out and ask the resturant for a discount? I realize this is not a "real" business, but all the same don't take if you don't give. Just my 3 cents. BJN

I'm seeing prices drop on non-essential items, food, gas and necessary items are not dropping in cost or price. I tend to regard this hobby as a non-essential item; I’ll be paying the mortgage, purchasing food, paying for utilities and gas for the cars before I ever seek out a provider.

I guess it all depends on whether you consider this a hobby or a necessity.
