For obvious reasons, I am posting in an alias.. Cause of the possible reprocusions..

If you have first hand knowledge of a provider with some very high risk behavior... ie I V drug use.  or worse yet, know if she might have already contracted a an STD

Should we say so, or post a warning...

This is done in the Porn Business.. How should we handel it in the Hoby?

I would appreciate seeing the ladies' POV on this one.

Who are you trying to protect? The feelings of a provider in case you are wrong?

 I would err on the side of caution, especially since it may involve something which may be fatal if contracted.  "Give us the facts, ma'am, just the facts!"  That way, we can independently decide for ourselves whether we should take the risks involved or whether the information is flawed.

 If it turns out to be wrong and you've destroyed an innocent person's reputation?  Well, better that than being right and not saying anything and destroying someone's life.  

If your best friend was about to make the plunge ... would you warn him about this provider?  Think of me (and all of us) as your new best friend(s), mi amigo mejor!

Obviously, if your 100% sure -this is an information site! Of course their is going to be two sides to this question - supported with good argument, but in the interim please PM me with the info you posses for my own peace of mind- and our secret, if you should so decide to keep quiet.

Unfortunatly this a risk that we take when we indulge in this hobby..But, if you know that she does have something and not just suspect, then anyone that is worried should contact you and you can  tell them in a PM. Please let me know who in a PM, thanks.

Personally, I would think that IF you decide to come forward with accusations such as THESE, that you had better be 100% ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that you ARE, indeed, COMPLETELY CORRECT about what you SUSPECT ... Especially BEFORE you risk RUINING someone's life / reputation!!  These are SERIOUS ACCUSATIONS to make about someone & to do so WITHOUT CONCRETE PROOF would be (in the very least) SLANDER!!  I hope that the ONLY reason you have chosen to come forward with this info is because YOU yourself have gotten a DOCTOR-DIAGNOSED-STD from this VERY Provider & wish to prevent it from happening to anyone ELSE.

** Even so, with that being said, I could think of a BETTER WAY for this particular situation to be handled.  I think that You should go to the Provider DIRECTLY & allow HER the opportunity to be Tested, Diagnosed, & then TREATED ... Especially BEFORE you choose to make this incident PUBLIC KNOWLEGE!  
'Cause doing so IMPLIES that She IS spreading this STD either KNOWINGLY -or- WILLINGLY  & that would be downright CRUEL!!  I can't think of ANY Provider (in SD) who would knowingly CHOOSE to spread an STD ... Can You??  

Okay, couple more things to say & then I'll go:

Regarding your accusation of her "IV Drug Use" ... WHY is it that you suspect she is CURRENTLY Using IV Drugs?  Was she behaving in such a way that lead you to believe that she WAS under the influence of something "Heavy-Duty"?  And, if so, WHICH DRUG are you referring to??  I mean, was she all "AMPED-UP" (ie: on Cocaine -or- Speed)  Or was she "NODDING-OFF" (ie: Heroin)??  And, more importantly:  Did you see FRESH "Track Marks" (from a needle) that CONFIRMED Your Suspicions?  Or were they OLD SCARS & BRUISES that made you suspect??  After all, like I mentioned earlier, these are VERY SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS you are making here!!

Now, regarding IV Drug Use:  UNLESS this Provider IS SHARING NEEDLES, then SHE (in particular) IS NOT ANY MORE RISKY to involve yourself with than, say ... Someone who provides YOU  (AND, of course, Hundreds of OTHER Men With) a BBBJ!  
Actually, the Provider who gives men BBBJ's is MORE AT RISK (of contracting HIV) than the Provider who carefully uses IV DRUGS (ie: Without SHARING Needles)!!  
Now, that MAY be A LOT to wrap your head around, but it IS an ACCURATE statement!  Look, please don't misunderstand what I just said:  The PROVIDER (giving BBBJ's) is the one who is MORE AT RISK (of contracting HIV) than the Conscientious IV Drug User ... NOT THE HOBBYIST, understand?  

UNLESS the Provider has a cut -or- lesion in her mouth at the time of the act, then the Hobbyist is only being exposed to her SALIVA ... NOT HER BLOOD!  And, according to the latest statisitcs: It takes approx. 1 GALLON of SALIVA to transmit HIV... Which is NOT a BIG concern, if you ask ME!  
Oh, a little side-note that may be helpful:  To REDUCE the RISK of HIV Transmission during ORAL SEX:  Allow at least an HOUR between Brushing one's teeth / Flossing  -AND- PERFORMING Said Act.  

Now, you MAY be wondering WHY "I" have gotten SO WORKED-UP over THIS PARTICULAR POST ... Well, 2 reasons come to mind:  
#1 reason being that I have personally been accused of similar behavior in the not-so-distant-past & IT NEARLY RUINED ME!!  
And, secondly, if someone DIDN't ASK ME DIRECTLY about a particular concern that they were having, well ... I Suppose Any Number of Misunderstandings Could Result, ya know??  

Bottom Line:  We ALL have our DEMONS, don't we??  And they may DIFFER from one person to the next.  I am just thankful that I have found the STRENGTH to GET HELP & TRY to JUST MOVE ON ... Perhaps a BETTER USE for this gentlman's CONCERN would be if he were to perhaps TRY to HELP HER SEEK TREATMENT. (for the Possible STD -and/or- the Suspected IV Drug Use)

I'm sure that the INITIAL REACTION when one finds-out that they've contracted an STD is to perhaps "GET EVEN WITH" the person they suspect gave "IT" to them.  But, COME ONE, do you REALLY THINK that she INTENTIONALLY gave this to you??  So, you want to HURT HER as much as She Hurt YOU, am I right??  This doen't do ANY GOOD!  And it certainly DOESN't PREVENT OTHERS from contracting the STD!

Look ... I Honestly Believe that the RIGHT thing to do here would be to SPEAK WITH THE PROVIDER DIRECTLY ... DEFINTELY NOT to PUBLICLY GIVE-OUT DAMAGING INFO About Her Personal Problems (whether it be an STD -or- a Current Drug Problem) on a site such as TER.  You MAY THINK that you are doing OTHER Hobbyists a FAVOR, but ... In Reality ... There are often SEVERAL PATHS that ultimately lead to the SAME DESTINATION ... Some you may find to be LESS-damaging than others ... Do you get my drift??  

Lastly, I'm certainly NOT trying to JUDGE YOU here ... I suppose I'm just trying to say that this particular situation "hits home" for ME & so ... I Guess I'm Just TRYING to Help Spare You Two from ANY FURTHER HARM, that's all!

Sheesh, I sound like a school teacher grading reports, but that was straight from the heart and powerful.

saying that I had HIV.  It was based on nothing and was purely an attempt to scare guys away from me.  I finally got tested at AIM and have the papers to show I am HIV-negative.  I had been tested before at my doctor's office, but they just told me the results.  AIM is recognized and trusted.

Some people are really malicious, and some people just love to spread gossip.  I take the things I hear with a BIG grain of salt.

I was PM'd by, who I believe, the original poster of this thread as to who the lady in question is. Wouldn't you know it...she was right there next on my short list. Unbelievable. With great concern to myself and everyone else the next questions should be directed towards the source of his information and to what type of STD she has possibly contracted.
This is a serious allegation. I agree that the lady should respond. If Lara has already been made aware of her identity, I would urge her to contact this person. If it's to be unfounded, how she aplies spin control is crucial. As someone who has been there, Lara may be able to help. If the allegations ARE true then she could use a friend anyway. None-the-less, the cat is sorta out of the bag. It's like a judge telling a jury to disregard a damning question or statement...it's already OUT there. This woman is well know and often seen by men in this community. If the rumor is true it could cause a rippling effect throughout our little town. Because of this and the Judge/Jury analogy I presented, unfortunately, the burdon of proof doesn't weigh upon the shoulders of the poster. Even if he were unable to provide any substantiation to the claim, it cannot be dismissed from the minds of those who would seek her company. As miserable as it sounds, through possibly no fault of her own, I see a long uphill battle on her part irregardless of what the truth may be. But it is a battle that she cannot remain silent in. As long as there is a remote possibility that she is infected in some way, we have no other choice but to stay away. And IF she is, and especially if she has knowingly been continuing services, that "rippling effect" could and should cause concern for those who and who have not been with her. She has PAGES of reviews. And those reviews have been made by hobbyists, who themselves, have full page(s) of reviews under their belts. I'm not trying to cause a panic siting that a possible epidemic looms on the horizon. But you know what they say...when you sleep with a person, you sleep with everyone they've ever slept with............

A couple years back I thought I may have been exposed to an STD.  Got tested and was OK.  But it really woke me up.  I can see where a provider knows they have an STD like HSV and "think" they are OK at the time of encounter but actually transmits something that can never be cured.  

I went thorugh all the emotions and have stayed in the hobby realizing the risk.  Oral to oral is something I do not do or accept for this reason.  Doing that and using a condom eliminates a whole bunch of risk.

If Lara didn't want it to get out that she is a heroin addict and moved to TJ to be near her methadone clinic, she never should have told any of her clients!  I got this info straight from the horse’s mouth, and though Lara will deny it, I know for a fact that she doesn't remember what she said most of the time!  She didn't know who I was even though I saw her twice in one week when she was still in SD.

This isn't rocket science, guys!! There are several hundred escorts in TJ and San Diego who are NOT drug addicts. Why would any thinking hobbyist choose an escort who, by her own admission, is a drug addict?  

BTW, what exactly are netmichelle and MrSelfDestruct saying with their comments that Lara has a 'good point' and wrote a 'great post'?  It's ok to be a heroin addict and a provider?

I am not suprised by the amount of concern generated by this post. yet I have as of yet not mention a name, nor have I PM'ed anybody.

So if you have been PM'ed it apears to be someone else with the same concerns.

And as far as proof, I have none.
I have had myself tested because of my concernes, and come up clean. You can't believe what a relief that test was.

However the pointer remains about concern over another health.
And the concerns I have a valid and based in fact on scares on another's body. Yes from Drug use! and she admitted to it, after I asked the question, after having spoted the marks and scares. They did apear to be old, and I have no other evidence other than this!

I can not, and will not say that she has it because I do not know. I do know that I do not have anything. And am greatful for that.

I do however caustion thoses to inspect the body of providers you see, with the light on. I have done this, and had no resistance to it as of yet.

Makes me feal better even if I can't see the things that are most important.

As far as turning in a suspect, I would hate to be wrong, so I caution just to look for the signs when seeing some, and let her explain it to you personal.

I am fairly certain that THIS post MAY be about ME!  
Reason Being:  I had an appt. last week with A NEWBIE ... it was, according to him, his VERY FIRST TIME with a Provider & he was QUITE NERVOUS.  I tried to help him relax with conversation, etc.
But then, the UN-expected happened ... I STARTED MY PERIOD!!  :0
HE WAS FREAKING-OUT ... I can't say that I blame him, though.  
I would be nervous, too!  However, I TRIED to reassure him that I AM HIV-NEGATIVE and that I am tested EVERY 6 MONTHS!  I have done so ever since working at a local hospital here in town & have continued the "healthy habit" ever since.  He OBVIOUSLY "got over it" 'cause, after he got out of the shower & found that he was unable to "finish" via OTHER methods ... He went right back to what he was doing originally ... And finished.  ONLY to Write Me Several TImes Qurestioning ME Further RE: My STD / HIV Status.  I THOUGHT that things settled-down after I received a "Thank-YOu" letter from him stating that He Intended on Seeing Me AGAIN In November & then ... He Asked Me For A TER VIP Passcode!!  What Nerve!!    I mean, if he REALLY IS the one who wrote THIS post & IS talking about ME ... I Just Don't Know What ELSE To Say Here!!     I Suppose what I'll do is this:  Get Documentation That Say's I AM HIV-NEGATIVE Like the OTHER Provider Mentioned ... Unfortuantely, unless the Hobbyist IS TRUSTING of ME ... The Test Results Will DO NO GOOD Since They ARE Most-Often ANONYMOUS & only Have A Series Of Letters & Numbers In Place Of The Patient's NAME!!

..the ramifactions are much greater for the hobbyist than for this particular provider....if the allegations are unfounded, then she has to repair her reputation.  While this is certainly not trivial, it is much less concerning than the alternative if the allegations are true.  I have cancelled my afternoon appt...and now, I'm suspect to hobby at all in SD.  Its one thing to play russian roulette when there is only a slight chance the gun is loaded....it is quite another if you think that there is a good chance that there is a bullet in there...

I would think that there may be quite a few who would be relunctant to hobby in SD until this situation is resolved....

If this were a genuine question, you could have posed it in a much less accusitorial fashion...if not, then you are simply an alarmist...and in either case, I wasted my afternoon

You nailed it, same admission to me, and it appears that she is airing it here as well so no point in farther secrets.

That is why she wears long sleaves at appointments, tries to hide the scares.

However the ones I saw were healed and bu rather large.


And I didn't see them until after the appointment, because I respected her wishes to remain with shirt!



All was covered, and she was fanatical regaurding her saftey precations, and that coupled with the admission on Heroine problem, scared the fuck out of me!

So I went and got tested right away, wich was negative.
I also waited 60 days, the longest 2 months of my life and got tested again. Still negative, thank GOD! That is why I am posting here, because I don't want others to have that same 2 month freak out session.

You are sweat and fun to be with, and actual a great provider. I had a great time with you, I would have made you a regular except that your choices in personal way of life now exclude that.

I hold no grude or hostility towards you, I just hope that you make better choices in the future, and are in fact in a good state of health and taking steps to get better.

The original poster based his concern on his first-hand evidence of old track marks and scars. While IV drug use is surely a red-flag for the possibility of associated STD's they simply don't go hand-in-hand. Now we seemingly have less of a chance of a particular provider being infected but who knows.
More importantly, I have unwittingly done a diservice to a few of you. After acknowledging that I had received the name of this person through a request to be PM'd with the information, I was PM'd subsequently asking me to divulge her identity. I elected not to citing that we should take a couple days and see if the poster publically names her or that she herself addresses the post. NOW it seems that the person that responded to my request wasn't even the author of the original post!!! Now I know of 2 possibilites of infected providers. One is unnamed and based on an assumption and the other is a well-known woman that is now tagged with,(...and no disrespect to the person that contacted me,) nothing more than "I heard...".
So where do we go from here? Rumors can ruin a persons livelihhod or life. But total disregard of such rumors could ruin or end another's.

That has only happened to me 3 times in 2 YEARS and ALL OF THEM I REMEMBER!   So, tell me: Where did we meet??  And WHY did you say that I "Didn't Remember YOU" ??

Also, WHY would you go & say such HORRIBLE THINGS when you OBVIOUSLY played me like a fiddle & TRIED to get that PERSONALLY PAINFUL INFO OUT OF ME in the 1st place??  You must have acted like a CONCERNED FRIEND for me to tell you ANYTHING of the sort!!  Obviously, YOU ARE NOT what you appear to be!!  

But, MORE IMPORTANTLY ... Since WHEN is Being IN RECOVERY ON A METHADONE PROGRAM considered being A HEROIN ADDICT??  Your statement IMPLIES that I am CURRENTLY USING & therefore ADDICTED!!  Which couldn't be FURTHER from the TRUTH!!

As far s my move to TJ is concerned:  I did so for SEVERAL REASONS .. Which are NONE of YOUR DAMN BUSINESS or ANYONE ELSE's to be quite honest!!  But, if I MUST defend myself in a PUBLIC forum like TER, to clear my name, then so be it!  

First Issue:  I did not have a CAR for awhile & the "Hobby" was VERY SLOW for a LONG period of time, which ANY HONEST Provider WILL Tell You ... MANY of US were having Financial Problems at then!!  IF "they" chose to say otherwise, then oh well ...What Can I Do??

Second issue:  ON TOP OF THAT, I was having problems with a neighbor who was HARASSING ME after he found-out that I had reported him to CPS for beating his 3-year-old-son.  If you will recall, I posted something about finding my PHONE-LINE MANUALLY CUT (like with a knife).  Since I didn't actually SEE HIM DO THIS, my landlord wouldn't step-up and PROTECT ME from HIM by EVICTING HIM ... So, I did what any sensible woman in THIS particular Situation SHOULD have done:  I MOVED for MY OWN Safety!!  I can only hope & pray that his son is still safe!

Third Reason:  I have always wanted to live in a foreign country.  Of course, one a bit more EUROPEAN would've been NICER, but this is simply a personal "test" to see if I CAN SURVIVE in a country where they DON't Speak ENGLISH as a PRIMARY Language.  

So far, I AM enjoying myself!  
I have met a number of WONDERFUL people, not to mention ...
I APPRECIATE things SO MUCH MORE than before!  I am TRULY BLESSED
So, I guess I've gotta say ... I AM GLAD that I made THIS Move!
Things have gone QUITE WELL.  I Now have A NEW CAR, which was 1 of my goals.  I have experienced LIFE in a different culture.
So, who knows ... I MAY CHOOSE to Stay Around a A Bit Longer ... But, then again, Maybe Not!  We'll See ...

LAST Reason:  YES ... I AM in a Rehab Program.  And YES ... One that uses Methadone as it's primary tool to help those in this situation.  And THAT, in itself, Is NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF!!
I AM PROUD OF MYSELF for being SMART & seeking help when I needed it!!  Oh, and FYI:  I have been on this very program for MORE THAN A FEW YEARS, which SURELY PRE-DATES "saywhatnow"s CRUEL comments, so ... He is TRULY CLUE-LESS about what's REALLY going on in MY life!!

I have read most of post here pertaining to the assumption that someone might have or might not have a STD. I am responding to Lara who mentioned me in an earlier reply to this orignal post. I am the Newbie that went to see Lara and while having sex she started her period. This did freak me out, so I asked her if she was STD free and said yes I am and get tested every 6 months. So based on that knowledge I took her word and continued our encounter. When things settled down and emailed her the next day to be re-assured that she is STD free and how long ago did she get tested. She eased my mind and I left it at that. So someone posted this message of someone that might have or has a STD and is a drug user and Lara seems to think it was me that wrote the post. So I will say I did not write this post period. What concerns me now is the fact that she beleives that this post was directed at her and by me. So I would like this person who posted this message come out and reveal yourself. One thing I know is you can't trust a drug addict especially one that uses herion. So Healhtconscience please reveal yourself and who are you talking about and when did you meet this person you question.

I had a great time with you, you are smart, entertaining, and a great lay!!.  You are funny, and beutiful. I in no way want to harm you.

I just can't look the other way with the past habbits you have had, and not make sure that other are not at least knowledgeable about the situation.

I hope that you are clean, and that other continue to see when you can assure our safety. But for all your great qualities, you have been involved in a high risk lifestyle, and others should know of the possibilites, regaurdless of the possible consiquences to you.

My uncle has long suffered an addiction with Heroine, and it has ruined his life. When sober he is a wunderful guy, with many great qualitties. But when high he is a totaly different guy. He has been thru rehab many times, and never been able to kick the habbit completely. As so, he like many IV users has contracted the bad stuff and is HIV possitive and is now dying in jail.

With that said, I can not be sure, nor can you say with any resonble amount of conviction that any IV user can be a responsible user. When high, all you want is the next one, you aren't thinking of all the other consequences all the time.

So I hope things truly are good for you, and that you are healthy. But it is only fair to the rest of the hobbist's to know of the possibilites, that apear to be ongoing with a continued treatment of 3 years...

I thought, Healthconcious, that your original post was a sincere effort to get advice about a difficult dilemma, and I thought you mostly got pretty good feedback.  Most folks seemed to think that you should be certain of your facts.  The facts seem to be that you didn't get an STD from anybody (were you celibate during that 60-day waiting period or did you have your wife or SO or other providers get tested, too?) and you had no reason to believe that Lara was using drugs.  In fact, she was "smart, entertaining, and a great lay!!(sic)".  "funny and beutiful (sic)", too.  But apparently she has old scars on her arms and, based on that, "others should know of the possibilities, regaurdless (sic)of the possible consiquenses (sic) to" Lara.   If I read the thread correctly, and I think I did, what possibilities could you possibly have had in mind?  Lara is not an IV drug user.  Increased risk of STD's which can accompany needle sharing doesn't have much relevance to somebody who doesn't use needles.  "Ah, but she used to use needles", you may say.  Yeah, well, she hasn't in some time and has been regularly tested in the interim and practices safe sex.  Exactly what "possibilities" are you trying to alert others to?  Further, why were your last two posts, which were essentially "I'm sorry to destroy your business for no reason, but it's for your own good and I really like you" messages to Lara posted here rather than PM'ed to her?  And what is this barbering on about the inability of an IV drug user to be a responsible user when (forgive the shout) LARA IS NOT AN IV DRUG USER?  I'm truly sorry for your uncle's difficulties, but are you aware that Lara is not your uncle?  And that she is creating  a very different outcome for herself?  One of the greatest problems faced by people recovering from addiction or battles with any other demon is the refusal of people around them to recognize that the past is not the present, that they are not defined by what they used to do.  Lara seems to have moved heaven and Earth (not to mention herself) in an effort to remake her life and you have made it that much more difficult.  As I said, I thought your initial post was sincere.  But your piggybacking on "saywhatnow"'s post referring to her by name has had exactly the same effect that a vicious conspiracy to destroy her business would have had.  God save us all from ignorant innocents shouting "fire" in a crowded theater.  You have kicked her, not when she was down, but as she was rising.  I genuinely hope that you have some understanding of what you have done here and that karma is kinder to you than I think you deserve.

Now I have heard it all, she moved to TJ to be safe.

Two important points. She admits NOW, after the fearing that she was about to be outted,  to being an addict and former shooter. During sessions she hides the marks. Would you trust her now?

I don't advertise that I used to use drugs, why would anyone.  And just for your information, I doubt that you have the slightest inkling just how many females out there are working for some sort of drug habit, and thier boyfriends too.  You have no idea.......

I went into treatment years ago for IV drug use.  I liked Baluchi's.  It is a long and difficult road.  Most people have burned so many bridges that they have no encouragement when they do finally seek help so when you do you are very alone.  

I lived in Mexico for a couple of years too. I loved it there.  The people were sweet and kind.  And yes, it did feel safe to me once I made friends with some of the locals I worked with.  Pudding, you don't know squat.

Lara, you can call me anytime for support on this.  Congradulations on getting your new car.  I know what you are going through.  The hostility you are experiencing here is shameful.

I've been out of town and am only now coming across all this crap.  I'm so sorry to see your livelihood threatened yet again by cowards making allegations in this devious way.

I'm impressed by your direct and honest answer here and am sad and horrified that you are having to defend yourself like this in this forum.

I know you are one of the most health conscious providers in town, and I would have no doubt as to your being safe.

I know enough about Lara to know that she is a careful provider (i.e., covered everything), and that she is a considerate person...unless you are mean, disrespectful, or accuse her of things behind an alias.  That is why I would see her...and if she is good at what she does and is safe, WTF do I care what she does in her off time, as long is it isn't hurting someone?  That is her life, and it doesn't automatically make any provider in town better than her.  I would say about 90% of those you mentioned likely are not.

I also didn't say "great post"...I said WELL THOUGHT OUT post... and cautious, as opposed to a smear job that it IRRELEVENT because of how safe Lara is.

Drug addict...hmmm...what does that mean.  Do you drink alcohol regularly?  Get stoned?  Smoke cigarettes?  Coffee every day?  Guess you are a drug addict too!  Again, it is IRRELEVENT when the provider is "covered everything".

No ones said that getting sober/clean is easy. That being said, Lara was not up front about her use until she was going to be ouuted in this forum. While you Jenni, may be years removed from your use, Lara it seems is not and was according to some of her clients high while providing service. Her drug use presents a risk properly commented on in this forum.

As for Mr. SelfDestruct, he is DEAD wrong when he states that drug use is "IRRELEVENT when the provider is '"covered everything."' Covers rip and burst. It is just not that simple.
