review guidelines (for those confused)

For performance ratings, it is asked that you please save the 8, 9, and 10 ranks for situations where out of the ordinary services are provided (i.e. Blow Job - without condom, Kissing - with tongue, Anal - Yes, and Really Bi - Yes). Of course, the 10 rating should be reserved for an experience that is really worth a million!

An escort provider is only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she is willing to perform one or some of the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, and Anal Sex. For each of these services that are offered, her potential max score is raised by one point, with 10 as an absolute maximum.

This does not mean she earns extra points for offering these service(s); just that she is now eligible for a higher score. Her maximum eligible score is based on what is offered, not what is performed during your session with her. You may or may not be interested in the “extra” services she offers, but the fact she offers them makes her eligible for the higher score.

If your review rates a provider higher than her maximum score, the score will be adjusted down to her maximum.

if u have questions, re-read, then re-re-read the above. it is all spelled out in perfect english.
happy hobbying!

And that is just what they are: guidelines.  We do not consider them rules, but the general framework on how the site is operated and governed.  That is why moderators are chosen to become mediators and "guides" on this site.  We often make judgment calls based on our own personal ethical/emotional compass.

I've read the guidelines many many times.  There is much room for interpretation.  Look at SCOTUS and see the problems they face on a yearly basis with more stringent and specific rules.  We don't have a constitution of sorts for this site, but we do have a certain amount of trust in the community.  If there is something you don't like, voice it.

milatequila does not understand the "confusion" because she may not have read a lot of reviews other than her own.  Unless she is a paying VIP, she would not be able to do so.

As to the comment of this board's moderator about "guidelines":  the most recent post I have noticed explained that it is paid TER staff that is tasked with approving reviews, not unpaid (and grossly "unpaid" at that) moderators.  We don't know what their hourly wage is nor if for current paid staff English is their first language, so inconsistency might be very understandable.

I've been a member for more than seven years (and most of that time a paying VIP); I never recall anyone suggesting that the clearly stated performance rating requirements were merely "guidelines".  Whatever you call them, anyone who has been reading juicy details for as long as I have would likely conclude that for the past 2-3 years the still-specified requirements are not always being enforced.

i can read all reviews thanks. :)
i currently have VIP and have had it since february.

my juicy details are similar in detail, length and quality of writing as other FS ladies reviews.
the difference: there is no writing about sex of bj's. everything else is comparable in reviews to other providers. and not just with my reviews. the runner up for san diego for FBSM is not far behind me. every review i read begins with "i was greeted by a hottie" (or someone) then the review goes to "she let me to her room after talking" followed by "we got to the deed" with more graphic info. the NUMBERS are the bit we are focusing on. why should it matter if someone's experience was a 9, but that they didn't have intercourse? perhaps it was BETTER than some FS experiences. perhaps it was better than the best 9 u had for FS but because of the ratings u can't properly convey how much different the experience was. IDK, just pointing out that for SOME the sex doesn't equate to a better performance or experience and once we can agree to disagree the world will keep turning. :)

i do agree that tho they are called "guidelines" they are pretty specific if read thoroughly. even reading them now again technically i CAN qualify for a 10 rating as i offer anal (just not on me, LOL) but i think i still max out at a 9 since that may be wishy-washy, huh?

thats my viewpoint anyway.

Mila, sweet thing, I don't care what number they give you. (I'd give you an 11).  You're the best.

it seems quite a bit has changed at TER. when I was first reviewing, quite a few of my reviews had to be edited for lack of 'juicy details' or too much personal information about the provider.  Lately, I've seen reviews on providers, usually newbies, that barely contain 3 or 4 lines of 'juicy details', of which there are none. And these reviews are allowed to be posted. When a provider earns a '10',as with competitive diving, it's damn near perfect. From the provider's point, I'm sure it's a thrill to receive a ten, but to me, there are way too many being accepted by staff.

Dare I say it, but could some of my fellow hobbyists be trying to get in a better situation with the provider?.......nah, no one would stoop to that, would they?

I have visited other review sites and ALWAYS have put my faith and trust in TER as I've felt it was fair and objective (of course YMMV), but now I usually discount the 10's, especially in newbies or those with only a few reviews.

I'm not saying that a 10 review shouldn't be legitimately posted, but I think the pool has been diluted, much to the detriment of those special ladies.

ur point is an excellent reason to be part of TER as a VIP. if a gal gets a 10 review, check the gent's other reviews. does he give out 10's left and right or is there about 10 reviews written and all ranges or scores with only a few 10s given (if any). if a guy is passing out 10s (as one did for every girl he saw on another site) the reviews don't carry the same weight as ones written by someone who is truly considering their scores.
