Hey, I just wanted to sort of introduce myself here and let you all know I am going to be relocating my hobby activities from the LA area to the SD area.  Not that anyone cares or anything.  I haven't posted reviews in quite some time due to the heavy LE activity and I really don't even post much but I do visit TER often and use it as a basis for my choices.  Anyone with any hot tips can private mail me or post.  I'd be happy to share the same way once I begin to feel comfortable with the area and with the people on the board.  By the way, TJ is not an option for me but greater SD area and the North County area are quite okay.

After hobbying in LA, hobbying in SD would be like replacing your Ferrari with a bicycle - a guaranteed disappointment. Don't even think about it!

welcome to san diego jason! most of us pale to you in the amount of reviews you have posted. perhaps we should be asking you for advice? i'm sure you'll settle in here rather nicely and once again welcome to america's finest city............

-it's too bad it's off your agenda. It is my personable opinion,
that as beautiful and liveable this city is, why - with the exception of a few INDEPENDENT providers (that are way overbooked/+PRICEY) - this city has such ugly, FAT, and old providers. Some even look like museum relics. When you come, don't get fooled by the hot looking girls w/stock photos like in San Diego Exotics, EROS-SANDIEGO, or other sites.
My guess is that perhaps 80% of them are
1) AGENCY RUN
  with AGENCY RIPP-OFFS like:
a)"Oh, thanks hon for the $$$, but that was just for me to dance." (Then the OPTION menu starts!)
b) "I need ALL THE $,$$$ if you want me to do all that UP-FRONT. Oh, I need to give this to my driver who is waiting out in the car." - then vanishes into thin air.
c) "Thank you for calling, "XXX" WILL BE THERE IN 30 MINUTES"
- then the girl you thought you were going to get doesn't even
LOOK CLOSE TO THE ONE IN THE PHOTO.(Body-double)
d) "No, I'm not an agency, I promise." -then a girl calls you back after making an appointment who you thought was the one in the picture and the actual provider - and asks for directions. Ofcourse, she doesn't even sound close to the one you just spoke to. Sure enough, her "BODY DOUBLE" arrives (ugly, not the pic that you saw) then -has to constantly yap on the cell with her AGENCY,DRIVER,BODY GUARD,etc.
e) Cancellation of "BODY DOUBLE" you refuse to let her because she is soooooooooo ugly, will mean her "cancellation" fee of $$$. (DON'T,-SHE LIED TO YOU WITH HER BODY DOUBLE ACT,remember?)
f) You find out that the girl named "xxx" answers the phone by another name. Then you realize, that that same phone number is in 3 or more indivdual escort photo ads.(RED FLAG)
AND FINALLY, TJ: For the price that you will likely spend for 2-3 hours here locally with one of the FEW good providers, you could almost have between 6-8 YOUNG, ENERGETIC, HOTTIES WITHOUT THE ATTITUDE. And enjoying them in the comfort of my hotel bedroom JACUZZI, or king-size bed.
If I just wasn't so lazy sometimes...

The percentage of bad escorts is probably higher in LA than down here, but there are SOOOOOOOOO many more up there you at least have many more good ones to see.

After such a positive post by Jason, it's kind of sad to see the negativity in the responses. I would think that the local hobbyists would be proud of the local talent. Since I moved back down this way, I have met many fine providers,(Thanks to the TER search of course).
   Jason, just stick to the VIP search and you will have a great time and meet many of the great providers San Diego has to offer. On your days off, you may want to venture to the Southern parts of the County, as the selection is greater than North County. I have heard great things about TJ, but have never actually been there for providers.

LA is the best in the country. You almost have to try, to not have a great time.

I was not sure if you were going to move to San Diego or just the hobby?

I have been using TER for about four months now, and haven't had a bad experience yet.  San Diego may not be the draw for "talent" that LA is, but there are plenty of decent providers here, unless you are looking for a 10/10 once a week.  For those of us who find TJ not an attractive option, a litle positive attitude can go a long way with the providers we have right here.  Then again, that coud apply to any relationship, so maybe that explains why some guys are looking for the unattainable.

I am relocating all of me, thanks for asking.  I didn't make that clear in my earlier post.  That is why I am changing my base for the hobby, too, of course.  My limited SD experience has been fairly good and you can tell by the reviews I have posted on SD activities.  I do agree LA provides a much greater variety .  But, since I am relocating "all of me", the hobby has to come too.  Thanks to all of you who replied to my post and especiall to those of you (you know who you are) who did PM to me with additional tips.  I think I am going to like it here.
