Don't know about the rest of you, but there are way too may $$$$ girls out there these days...I think we need to hold the line and boycott these providers...If not, the price could easily be $$$$$  in a few years....Things are getting out of control, unless the rest of you guys are loaded or cashed out at NASDAQ 5000...

I don't know about off base, but you do sound a bit frustrated. Hobby with the ladies you can afford to hobby with, it's that simple. If you get priced out of seeing a lady on a particular trip because of her higher rates, save up a bit more dough for the next time she's in town or you're on the road. You can always boycott but how will that help you solve anything?  If you are around the SD area, then try going to TJ and having fun with the ladies there.  They probably will just ask for your name and what time you would like to visit.  No hassle.  I've heard many of my "friends" go to TJ for fun since they don't have to dish out so much $ and no screening is required.  It all depends on who you would like to play with.  Have fun if you like to be in the hobby and if the hobby is putting a hole in your pocket then take a break.  They hobby can be both worthwhile and stressful for both the hobbyist and providers.  Take care and happy hobbying.

I can certainly empathize with your position.  I feel that, over the last few years, the prices have been going up while the services have stagnated, often not matching the cost.  That's where TER is great to identify the one's who are only in it for the money.  Too bad there are so many shills/pimps for the providers with their fake reviews.  By hat goes off to those of you who are willing to TOFTT.  

 Now, I'm not talking about the established ladies who provide a quality service for their price.  Those ladies are well known here.  But, more and more, I am seeing new providers come into the market with no reviews or proven track record so to speak and they still charge $$$ to $$$$.  Often, these new providers have little or no experience on how to please a man, or even the desire to please them.  Yet, they seem to think that they can still command top dollars.  Obviously, they are only in it for a quick buck without consideration of building a clientele.

 Personally, I hobby quite a bit less than I used to do.  Except for my forays into the LA area (SGV) or TJ, I've been priced out of the SD market.  But, the trade off is I have more disposable income for ballgames, theatre tickets, nice restaurants, etc.  Things I had neglected to attend while hobbying became a mild obsession for me.

 As in all areas of life, there must be a proper balance.  As with any other commodity that relies on supply and demand, when demand is greater than supply, then prices go up.  So there's only one way to fix that, lobby for more women to become providers.

Acvtually I agree with you. I really things are getting out of hand, especially when you get a poor service, a bad attitude and below average looks.

It's getting really lame to see all these guys bash the High Dollar Hotties.  Stop complaining about prices.  If you can't afford it, then move on.  This is what the market will bear right now.  If you're looking for a deal, go south of the border.

Dude, I am right there with you.  I saw a well known provider on thurs for 1 1/2 for 60min.  Today, her rate is 2 for 60min.  I feel you, man.  I am inclinded to join the boycott, too.

The price escalation that has taken place in the past couple of years to $$$ for the average escort is well in excess of inflation in this period for other professional entertainment that I know - baseball, Vegas shows and local theatre. Holding the line (i.e., paying $300 only for providers who are consistently receiving only 8 and above)is sound advice.  Otherwise, every just-arrived 19 year old provider will be justified in insisting on $$$ or more on her first day.  We are almost there already.  Sure its a free market, like others have responded.  That means customers must use judgement, rely on info such as TER's, and "organize" by refusing to pay top dollar except for top service.

The prices are what the market will bear basically, you know the routine of supply and demand. Sometimes the addition of $ can make or break the possibility of seeing a certain person and at times even less can dictate who you can or cannot visit. I have a fund for my activities which decides for me the caliber of person and how often I can hobby, I've found that by doing what MFSD suggests and MSD agrees with to be the best way to go with this, the delay sometimes is a great turn-on and in doing this you are positive you are seeing who you desire.

Dude - basic economics, the ladies would not charge higher prices if guys were not willing to pay. Complaining is not going to change pricing, the trick is to find the diamond in the rough who is not yet charging market prices.

I believe the others responding to your post have pretty much answered your appeal. Your appeal that we boycott will simply not be enjoined by any significant number of hobbyists, if any, to make any difference. From my perspective and reasons, I am very much satisfied with the company of the providers which, as you relate, maintain excessive fees. But, then again, it is also my opinion that they deserve those fees because of what they provide and do for us. It has been my experience to have received MORE (one can only dream about), from the ladies in this category than from the ladies who do not request those higher donations. That is not meant to take anything away from those ladies who do their best, for lessor fees either. Nor, is it meant to be all encompassing. But, in my opinion and experiences, there is a very major difference which guides me in the direction I choose to go. Of course, Not wanting to make things more difficult for you, I intent to keep going in the direction that I perceive to be the best value possible because, I simply can. Yes, way off base (to me). It is a matter of one's independence, choice and means, as well.

Personally, every $$$$ girl I have seen has been well worth it.  My  ATF is one, as a matter of fact.

i agree with you to a degree. i feel that the girls that charge $$$$ dont give the service for that type of money. plus you figure the girl that charges $$$$ would be beautiful not avrage most of the time its average. you find better quality in the OC and LA

Well, the trick is also to affect market pricing by avoiding the high price ladies - unless of course, they are truly a cut above.  Not exactly the boycott suggested at the of this thread, but smart shopping.  If we just accept $$$$ as the new going rate and blindly pay it, then we are responsible for the upward trend in pricing.  

Personally, when I see $$$$ I have to wonder what makes the lady so damn fine as to justify the extra $.

i agree. they are charging way too much. seriously some of these providers should be paying me, given their age and looks. i myself am only holding out for someone visiting who i find EXCEPTIONAL.

And I have been very happy.  There were lots of people that had wanted to see me but could not afford it, and I was tired of the type of (insert expletive here) wealthier clients that were becoming an increasing bore.

I'd be curious to know how your wealthier clients are becoming an "increasing bore".

To a certain extent I agree.  Many are seriously overpriced, but I would probably think the same if the were $$.  That is ONLY because for the most part San Diego does not have a very large pool of good looking, real quality providers.  Now before the ladies get mad, I said for the most part.  There are some lovely ladies out there that are well worth the $$$, or even $$$$, some of which still charge less.   I don't know why a town with so many beautiful woman has so few quality providers, but that's life.  LA may have the volume, and Phoenix has MANY excellent quality ladies, but San Diego just doesn't.  Again just my opinion and everyone has their own tastes and preferences.  What I think is a beautiful quality provider, isn't going to be "the one" for everybody. If you screen carefully you can still find some excellent providers.  You also have some VERY high quality providers that visit San Diego.  I would highly recomend Ashley (Asian Ashley from Houston), Mya and Jordon - probably any of Mya's ladies from Phoenix.  All these ladies are WELL worth the money.  But in general finding ladies that make you want to repeat, like most things, you have to try a few before finding the real gems, but is it really such a chore?  While I have been disappointed a few times, and somewhat underwelmed a few others, it was well worth it to find the few true gems that I have found.  Just like any other shopping, there are many "stores" that are overpriced, but when you shop Kmart, you get Kmart quality.  But also like shopping, when you do your research and shop smart you can find excellent quality at a reasonable price, and when you do - it is well worth it.  I know this is long winded, but I'll end with another plug for my ATF GFE - Ashley.

I am very sorry and certainly didn't mean to offend anyone by starting this thread....I was just venting on the esalating cost of providers who seem to underperform and overpromise for the price...Certainly there are a few deserving of $$$$, but overall I am afraid of $$$$ becoming the base for "less than enthusiastic" providers...Everything in San Diego is overpriced compared to other parts of the country, not just providers--I am also talking about housing, gas (cheaper in hawaii if you can believe it), etc....I can routinely find awesome GFEs for $$$ when travelling and am just amazed by the hit and miss of the san diego market...

The price is certainly market driven as mentioned, but we are the "demand" side of it, so personally I am not paying $$$$ in San Diego no matter what....just remember when $$ got you a great time in San Diego--it wasn't really that long ago...

I know a wonderful provider that got her start on the streets. She has since graduated to an All-Star provider. Her rates went from 0.8$ to $$$+ depending on what city. You have to admit it's a tough profession; she basically wanted to maintain her income but see less hobbyists. The only way for her to do that was to increase rates.

You're not off base at all.  Best thing do is post only providers that rates are less than 250.

Heard one provider who charges 500 hr (from a other city ) boasting that she can control the market and she could do no wrong.

Pretty soon San Diego will be just like NY.
