CORRECT!
Unless you are driving from LA or OC to San Diego or to Vegas the overhead requires a set amount of appointments in order to travel....
Example:
San Diego lady touring in NYNY vs Vegas (the same can be reversed for NYNY to San Diego)
These examples are based off only 1 hour bookings at about 400-500 per hour
NYNY - flight can be up to 800 round trip which is already minimum of ONE appointment required.
NYNY - hotel rates are not cheap in New York and if you are a higher end provider you can't slum it somewhere cheap which is probably a minimum of 800 for say two nights? Another two dates she is required to have.
So for NYNY tour a provider is required to have a minimum of 5 clients in order to make the trip profitable over the course of 2 and a half days.
Vegas - driving can take time but it's less than 160 round trip in gasoline which is less than 1/2 a date fee.
Vegas - hotels are all densely populated on the strip thus competitive rates. You can get 2 nights at a very nice place without comps or discounts for less than 500 which is only one client requirement.
So for a provider to tour Vegas from CA she is required to book fewer dates to make a trip profitable.
These are just basic examples.
My policy as a hobbyist would be (if I were one): if she is flying I'm not buying.
The reason is because she is already obligated to have a minimum of 3 dates just to pay for the trip.
But that's just my take on it.
