Everyone has a preference for one reason or another but does a providers ethnic background matter when selecting one to accompany you. I'm aware some providers have age/ ethnic limits when it comes to who they will spend time with but I want to know what do hobbyist look for when selecting a provider. Please no bashing on this thread if you feel like say something rude or putting someone down write it on a piece of paper and throw it away. Excited to have a discussion about this.

A ladies ethnic background is irrelevant to me.  I either find you physically attractive or I don't.  From that point, then I'll start applying my own criteria.  Her age, her body type, her personal grooming.  I know what I like.  Then from that point on I want to know something about her personality to see if she gives me a positive vibe. I'm looking for an experience, not an encounter.   I'll read her reviews, but only the general information.  I don't need to know the juicy details because as we all know, its always a YMMV situation.

Strange to say, I look at the eyes..which is hard to do when a lady hides her face. There is something about the eyes that I have found is very accurate as a first impression

I totally agree. It's in the eyes that lets you know how much fun a girl can be.

First, I want to find a provider I can connect with, regardless of ethnic background. I like them to be over 30 years of age, unless somehow comments on their maturity have been detailed with reviews on this site.  
The more I see a provider, the better time each of us has. I like to see them multiple times.
For instance, I started seeing a FBSM provider about a year ago, have been a dozen times, and we now enjoy each other in a full service session, which I know she does not typically (if at all) provide.

Notice I didn't say no preferences.

My criteria is pretty basic, I suppose.

I prefer women that are well over 25.

Looks, excellent reviews, website and comm are important to me. Ethnicity is not. All I see on a date is a woman period; not a white, black, Asian, hispanic or whatever woman.

I don't see Asian providers. It feels far too creepy to me.  

Situations like this I understand completely why not wanting to see someone who may remind one of a loved one.

providers younger than my daughter, who is 30, so I just don't go there.  I look for girls 35+.
