Re: Tracfone
I've had a tracfone for years. $20 gets me talk and text for 3 months, reload with a phone card bought at a grocery store. A little more if you want a data plan.
I turn my rl phone off as soon as I leave my home to avoid Google tracking my location.
Ten years ago (maybe twelve) I had a TracFone burner, it was basic talk and text, no internet access. It was just as economical as yours, so it serves its purposes for that point in time.
Like an idiot, instead of staying with that company and merely upgrading the phone, I opted to scrap it and go for an Android smartphone by some obscure company. That was about two years ago. I now have internet access along with the basic phone service, but under a new telephone number. Meh, no big deal, I transferred my contacts and mostly I'm the one doing the initial calling, not receiving the calls.
I would NEVER use my personal smartphone for ANYTHING involving my clandestine activities. It seems like playing with fire, because nothing is ever completely erased or deleted, and if a search is made by some expert who knows what he or she is doing, your track record can be uncovered much to your surprise.
I don't even call one phone on the other, I create no nexus whatsoever between the two. No email messages between them, no websites nor searches on common, nothing.
