e-mail overload...red_smile

On TRB (Seattle's board), VVH recently posted that she had gotten very behind on her responses to e-mail messages. That is no excuse for not notifying folks of her change in plans, but may help folks understand some of the circumstances. Fortunately (or unfortunately) I did receive a message last week from Victoria letting me know she was going to have to cancel her SD trip. She is truly amazing and very appreciated in the Northwest. Unfortunately that means she can get very busy and will become overwhelmed by correspondence from time to time.

Well she did it again.  After her last debacle, she emailed and said she was coming in on the 24th.  She picked the day and time and gave me the hotel name.  Well here it is the 24th and no word from her.  What's this person's problem?  Why can't she at least have the courtesy to call or email and say something came up.  Fool me once shame on you.  Fool me twice shame on me.  Never again VVH.  It must be nice to be so popular that you can just blow people off without even a second thought.

I experienced a similar problem with VVH on her first trip down however, we stayed in touch and on her return visit...well, she made up for it in spades.  I've got no regrets....sorry you got stiffed, or not so, on two occasions.   There are however two sides to every story, and although I am not questioning you or yours, but there always are!!  Knowing what I know I'd give here a last chance if I were you.

After her last visit and all the no shows she did, I am obliged to go with what was said. Her repuation for being a flake is growing with each visit. For every good meeting that we hear about, there are about 3 or 4 that we hear about that are negative.

Well glad you got your second chance.  I'm sure she's great, but obviously something about me she doesn't care for.  Still no way to treat someone.  If she has a side to her story, I'd love to hear it, but I suspect she just doesn't give a damn.

All right I'm a little confused now (ok maybe always), but did VVH come to town on the weekend of the 24th or not?  One person says she cancelled her trip another says she was here?
