When I was young, I was a most selfish lover. All I cared about was chasing the big O. With age, came the realization that MSOGs were gone, at least for the sessions I was able to afford. So it became less about crossing that goal line and more about pleasing my partner.  

Plus, why do you think a lot of these fine ladies won't see gents under a certain age?  Most young guys are tools. I get compliments all the time for what a gentleman I am. But you know what?  Am I really?  Or is it that most other (read younger) guys have no idea how to treat a lady?

They can't order wine, they don't have a clue about opening a car door, pulling out a lady's chair, opening the door at a restaurant, following a lady up the stairs or leading her down, or even what side to walk on when strolling down the street.  

So here's to grey hair and the wisdom that comes with it!  And for what it's worth, this scrawny Mumford and Sons skinny jeans look?  Most ladies don't want to be with a guy that weighs less than they do!  So carry your pounds proudly, hold your lovers hand, and smirk at the young Turks who have no idea what they're doing in the bedroom!

Im in my 50s and enjoying life as much as time and money permit.  In some ways Im as physically fit as I was in my late 20s or 30s, so Im lucky.  My advice is not to yearn for an unattainable past.  You'll find that each life stage has its special gifts.  Watch what you eat, do a bit of exercise, laugh with friends, and enjoy family if that's practical for you.  Choose wisely from this and other sites and you can expect many years of fun encounters.

Well said. I fully agree.  My 40th birthday was, at the time, a bit traumatic. However,  I'm 45 and I must say, since my late 30's I've been having more fun than at any other time in my life.  I have the ability, know how  and means to enjoy myself.  

There's something to be said about getting attention from both age appropriate and age inappropriate members of the opposite sex.  

As they say it's a shame youth is wasted on the young.
