I was wondering what the name of that hotel is in San Diego called the Hotel Corenado or something like that...

It looks like a big white castle....

The newer section isn't much differnt then a regular chain.
If you like wood work, molding, and just the character of those types of buildings you'll love it.
You could always try booking one of the "huanted" rooms. Room 3312 was Kate Morgans' who killed herself in 1888 on the property.
Or room 3502 was a housekeepers room  and said to be huanted as well.

Your posts on the National board are enjoyable.

There is construction going on next to Hotel Del on the NORTH side of the hotel.  They are building a ton of luxury rooms or condos or shops.

If these are rental rooms/suites/cabanas then a row of them will be right across the walkway from the beach.

Do you see a word in the sand?
