You've just graduated from merely silly to serious bad taste.

She asked me to post her regrets that she won't be able to see anybody for awhile. She was traveling southbound on 805 and a dummy who was going the wrong direction hit her. Thank God she only got a broken arm and nose.

she may receive a large settlement... then retire.

his humor is ALWAYS in bad taste...even if he meant it nicely.  I mean, even if Suzanne is lucky enough to get a settlement (like, the guy could be uninsured and poor), it will be quite a while before she sees money from it, and that is two months without any income she is going to have to deal with right now, and that rough.  I hope she had collision insurance for herself, and that she heals well.  If I was a client of hers that she did well by, I would send her some flowers or something.

Although I think his humor is sophmoric, he does have a point about lawsuits or as we know them as the "California Lottery."

Suzanne was unfortunate enough to have been in a car wreck a year or so ago, when she was visiting the UK. I am deeply saddened to hear of this latest incident. MfSD.

I was nearly broadsided by an SUV running a redlight today. Maybe it's something in the water in San Diego.

One could only wish Suzanne a speedy recovery.

I let my annoyance at dickhead get in the way of what's important.

I have received so many "get well" emails, phone calls and several bouquets from you guys, I have no choice but to feel so much better as each day passes! You guys are so very kind and thoughtful and I really appreciate your best wises and prayers.
I was in a high-speed collision with an SUV which was heading north on the southbound 805 (go figure!!), an accident which could have caused much more serious injuries.  I broke my nose and left arm, but have no internal injuries whatsoever.  I'm recovering well and expect to be able to take appointments sooner than previously stated, maybe in 3 - 4 weeks.

To the gentlemen who brought up the issues of lawsuits/insurance, etc., both parties in this accident are well insured (auto and health), and the police report clearly blames the other party.  Insurance is handling the claim very well, bills are being paid, and I'm looking for a new car.   I don't foresee any problems in this area and since wasn't badly injured, I don't expect to need to resort to litigation.  Besides, I love my work... can't wait to get started again soon!
Thanks again to all you wonderful gentlemen for your support.
Take care until I see you again soon.
Love and Kisses,
Suzanne
