Hello! I am planning my first ever trip to San Diego, July 24,25,26 ...I am very excited, but was wondering if anyone had suggestions on locations of hotels that seem to be convenient for the hobbyists....

Hotel circle, at least that's what I've heard from everyone else.  Overcrowded & too many pimps hanging around.   I've never actually hosted there, but that's what they say.  Good luck!

Have had dates with ladies at Hilton Mission Bay, Hilton Mission Valley, and Doubletree Mission Valley that all were excellent in terms of location, parking, easy entry, and room quality. Best for you if you'll be there a few days is Hilton Mission Bay as you will be right there on the water. Good luck.
