As I sit at the JFK airport waiting to board to fly back to SD I am truly blessed to have mi familia to spend Easter Sunday with, so are their any members who have no one to share this Holiday with?

I've been through a lot and get very lonely, but working with these kids (mostly age 16-20 and some as young as 12), many of whom have experienced several layers of trauma & hardship, reminds me that my Life is so beautiful & wonderful in so many ways.  

After helping out over there I went to a music video shoot!  My Easter ended up a wonderful combination of  volunteer + work + play :)

I'll be hiking and enjoying nature. I am a Celt, and I couldn't ask for a better Easter then to be in the fresh spring air, enjoying the wild flowers and beautiful trees.

Sometimes I really enjoy alone time, but not on big days like today.  This morning it was sunrise at Mission Beach with family and friends.  Just beautiful, and reminds me why we pay so much to live in So Cal.  Peace and Happy Easter to all.

Early a.m. Easter egg hunt with money & dulce filled eggs for the lil one.  It started at me casa with mi familia.  I cooked a champagne brunch.  Baked cookies, and colored eggs in the back yard by the pool.  Decorating eggs is always fun!

Followed by making personal mini-pizza's.  Indulging in good wine.  Soaking in the sun!  My feet are in the pool & today is a Good Day!  Thank the Lord we are truly blessed!

Fresh vegetables, and on to mimosa!  Next is bocce ball in the front yard with cocktails!
