Hay so I have a quick little quandary for the girls and boys!!!!!

Say you kinda can't provide or moved away etc etc perhaps a family emergency and you get several emails but are absolutely unable to respond. Which was a total bummer because some were very nice and sweet :)

Do you respond a month later? or just kinda hope you will reconnect in the future?

I have recently learned about a automatic reply, incase this happens again. But I don't want anyone to think I was purposely avoiding them the last month plus....... A email back is very easy to do and I absolutely understand that, but was not able to at the time.

Should I just reply to them now or would that be kinda weird because of such a delay???

Any opinion are very much so appreciated and I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful rain!

but i have gotten more an a couple of responses to my emails from more than a month earlier...and i am always delighted that a lady finds me interesting enough to communicate with, even if it's tardy by regular standards.

i'd suggest that you just make a quick and non-specific apology and then write what you would normally.  i'm sure the guys would love to heat from you.

I really appreciate your thoughts and response!!!!!! I will do just that :)

If you value the relationshipm i would reply now and let people know that the delay was unavoidable and re-engage.
Hope it all worked out ok...

This is all about the golden rule.

Just write them, and tell them you are sorry, but due to circumstances beyond your control you weren't able to respond in a timely manner. Say your lack of response doesn't reflect on them at all.

Then tell them you are available and are interested in meeting whenever they are interested.

People understand - we all have lives. It's the non communication that causes problems or hurt feelings. So write them back!

Good luck!

Another great great idea thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!

is better than no reponse  I am sure they will be very flattered to finally here back from you !

agree, respond now, and without going into detail tell them why it took so long to get back to them. An experienced hobbyist knows that life can get in the way of the hobby. BTW, this recently happened to me on an out of town trip I made. The provider responded after i returned home and was apologetic. I responded that I would contact her before my next trip to her city.

Thank you everyone

I had thoughts that it may have come off rude to have waited so long, it is great to know that people are really just and can understand that stuff happens!!!

:)

you all are so awesome.............

yay for you

Nothing weird about it. They'll understand that stuff happens and be happy to hear from you!

Of course it would be a nice gesture but we're all busy! Guys get that you have a life and may be away....don't sweat it. It wouldn't, won't, stop me from contacting you again.
