Ay carumba, ...the mighty & righteous do fall so hard!

Well, I like Spitzer....He is a tough attorney, but the rules are the rules....I would censure him in the legislature, probation and fine...I dont think this indiscretion deserves jail time...

This is not a huge screwout but more an embarressment to his family and to his office...

I have to tell you Que Pasa, I dont think I would have made my wife stand there with me...It was Nixon deja vous all over again.....God bless RN and family but her pain was so obvious and I hate to see anyone go through that...

One look at that woman's face said it all.  I disrespect him now just for that.  It's one thing to cheat on your spouse (I can hear the crickets out there, guys), but to then make her stand there as you apologize to the general public...that is insult to injury.

He deserves a large divorce settlement against him for that alone.

I'd like to see one other politician NOT apologize, but use my defense ... it depends on what the definition of is is !!

Wouldn't it be more real to just have the politician say Yes I did it, so what!

Better yet, Sptizer should just tell them all that he has a really wide stance!  It sort of worked for me as I am still in office.

I think you guys are missing the point: $4300 for a couple of hours?  Thank God we live in San Diego where some really lovely ladies are WAY less! And then to get busted on top of that.  Bad career day.

Yes, he is the scumbag of all time. Putting people in jail for exactly what he has been doing for 6 years. It looks like he has spent around 80gs for all the fun times. Problem paying for the girls to cross state lines for sex is the biggy, felony for that one. He should get the big felony for having his wife look like a deer in the headlights. What a looser! It will be interesting to see if the State of NewYork has been paying for his stays in the hotels and the fees for the nookie. He pretty much is busted. just my 2 cents.

According to the FBI transcripts, the actual cost of his 4 hour cookie $2600, he gave an additional $1500 that was to be a 'credit' for future cookies. So, he paid $2600 for a 4 hour date (that also involved travelling each way). Anyhow, that sure is a lot of frijoles!!

Not nearly good looking enough for me to spend that kind of money.  I understand she is cleaning up.  I was told she is charging for downloads for her songs and has made $1,000,000!!
