I was with one of my favorite providers yesterday and she mentioned how one single review has hurt her and her business. She told me how this guy was strange and wanted things that she was not comfortable doing. She did her best to provide these things but he was apparently not happy with her performance.

Even though she had several great reviews, she had not been reviewed since the negative one. The thing in the review that hurt her was that he said she was not as attractive as a picture of a friend of hers and that she was fat. She went on a strict diet and exercise. IMHO She did not need to. She has delicious curves.

Guys read all the reviews, not just the latest one. Remember that you cannot please everyone. Services vary from client to client and expectations vary as well. Everyone has there own opinion as to what is attractive. To me this woman is beautiful inside and out.

Escpecially where a woman has several reviews that are positive . . . one shouldn't make a difference.  More than one provider has mentioned to me that a bad review amidst many good ones was the result of the oddity of the client.

This is exactly what I talked about when I posted last week about trying to be gentlemen.  I know some of you out there are going to say "Good!  She should have gone on the diet...part of her business is looking pretty".  Regardless, the guy who wrote this review expressed his opinion about her looks much more than necessary,  AND he compared specific aspects of her performance to other providers in a negative light.  Not cool.  How would you feel if your boss told you, after you just gave the "went the extra mile, aware of the customers needs" performance Nicole did, that you are "good", but the guy in the cubicle next to you does it way better than you do, or if providers reviewed hobbyists and said "he had a small dick" or "he needs to take a shower" or "he was fat"?  Being considerate is a two way street, people.

it would be interesting to hear the other side of some of the stories, i.e. he wanted me to stay past the time and didn't want to pay me, etc.

Meagan is one of the most beautiful escorts I have ever met. But when she gained a little weight she was regearded as FAT. I just spent another mind blowing session with her and I can atest she is perfect now. Even when she had gained a few pounds due to quitting smoking, she was model material. In fact she could be a double for the famous model Carol Alt! Spending 2 hours entwined around that perfect body was a blast! Damn, now I am going to have to schedule some more time with her!!!

Lately my new clients have taken to sniffing suspiciously when entering my room, and are visibly surprised when it smells like vanilla candles and scented massage oil instead of rotten eggs (as mentioned in my one not-so-complimentary review)

Unfortunately some people don't speak of us as tactfully as they would their own daughters, sisters, colleagues or wives.

One good thing has come of that review though. Once I finished with finals I started the Atkins diet and lost 10 lbs and am still whittling away at those last few pounds. If anyone want to know about low carb eating, ask me as I have plenty of tips.

So sometimes bad reviews are good for getting us motivated!

I saw Meagan the very week the review came out.  Now I'm not exactly sure what the guy who wrote that was looking for, but even at that point, Meagan's body was KILLER, and I had a phenominal time with her.  As it was, I had to rush out the door to a meeting and she was asking if I had more time.  She is a class act and a delightful woman!  Where she lost any more weight from is a mystery to me.  Model material is RIGHT ON with her.

If they didn't want us to be brutally honest when reviewing providers, then why are the descriptions for various ratings so brutal?  A 5 is "plain", a 4 is "OK if you're drunk", and a 3 is "Homely".  There are quite a few providers who have low ratings in looks and higher ratings in performance.  I pose this question - Is it worse to get a 4 but have the reviewer make no comment on appearance, or get a 6 and have the reviewer mention that you are fat?

He posted that pic of the other woman to express that he felt she could be a dead ringer for the gal in the picture.  Literacy is a wonderful thing.

What's the deal with hiding behind an alias? Are you afraid of something? If you have something to say, why not stand up and say it using the TER username everyone already knows you by. Anyone paying attention already recognizes your writing style anyhow. Being flamed or having an unpopular opinion set out for public ridicule isn't the worst thing that's ever happened to a person. Strap on some balls DUDE.

NAUGHTIGUY I have my reasons. One of which was to through you off for a short time. I knew that as soon as you saw my TER handle you would have something negative to say to me. It appears that you have appointed yourself board police.

I did a search on you and for the past 6 months you have posted 111 replies and nary an original post. For the most part you have found it necessary to find fault with or ridicule others for their posts. The poor guy who had a typographical error in his post, you had to jump all over that one to show how superior you are. I think it made you look pretty small. But then, of course, you don't care what I think.

I had a message to tell. It was well recieved until you had to trough in your $.02. It is none of your business, or anyone elses for that matter, why someone uses an alias. The aliases are there to be used or they would not be there.

I did the Atkins thing too, M. Last year I lost nearly 45#. You have to be very strict and cannot go back to the way you used to eat. I gained about 25# back in this year. The two things I missed the most were bread and beer. Now bread tastes soooo gooood and I gotta have my beer.

vanilla just happens to be one of my favorite candle flavors as well.

Thanks for the compliment, but most of us could stand to lose a few pounds so I decided to do it. I really love Atkins and will be eating low carb forever as it really seems to agree with me!

so beer isn't a problem. And honestly, I can live without bread, pasta, rice and potatoes and other starches because as us lowcarbers like to say, "No bread tastes as good as thin feels"

Chocolate is my nemesis, but I've found some great no-sugar chocolates that I can eat so I'm all set!

"I had a message to tell. It was well recieved until you had to trough in your $.02."

Exactly.  So why take a chance on having the thread degenerate into a flame war?  Let it be and the one post will stand out like a sore thumb.

NAUGHTIUS, I'm not endorsing the characterization of you as a person, but this particular post was surely gratuitous.

The arguments of an alias has been debated in the past and will continue as long as TER allows people to use them. Personally, I hate them. But, I heard that TER once considered getting rid of that option and a majority of the paying members threatened to leave. That is just what I heard/read. Why people feel the need to hide behind an alias is beyond me. Oh well. Just my .02 cents

I lost almost 60lbs on the Atkins diet last year, and have maintained it.  It's a diet that seems to go along with how I'd eat if left to my own devices, so it's not a problem for me.

There are quite a few very low carb chocolate substitutes out there, and some of them even taste good! I believe Carbo-Lite is one chocolate substitute I use.

It has become obvious when one reviews your history that you are defending the website EscortMexico.

This makes your credibility questionable at best.  Perhaps you should be stating your motive at the beginning of your post.

There is a difference between honest reviews and ones which are written with "suck up" attitudes and yours have fallen into the latter category.

It is understood that providers rely on TER ratings for their income.

The conflict is that this gives them a motive to blackmail their reviewers into only publishing good reviews of them.

Certain providers south of the border are guilty of this.

This is easy to prove.

All providers have good and bad days.  Therefore the ratings of their reviews will have a tolerance.

However, among these providers, only good reviews are permitted.   All of them discuss this with their clients beforehand and therefore these are all groomed reviews.

Providers with a trend of bad reviews get a name change.  Then a great review comes out on TER to re-establish the income source.   This has happened with more than provider down there.

So that brings us to this thread........you do not appear to be speaking freely, in my opinion, so I recommend that everyone consider the source.

I take offense at your remarks. I was honest in my review and in this tread. This gal is sweet and kind of innocent. I believe she was honest with me. We email several times a week to keep in touch. When she met me at the border, the first thing she ask was when I had to leave. She said we had all day, to which I replied I could only pay for 2 hours. We spent 5 hours together and had a great time. She even treated me to lunch in a very nice restaraunt. When we were talking it was between her and me. I felt she needed my help and I did it without her knowledge. So if you think she coersed me into that review and this post than think what you will. I had a great time with an old friend and gave her a little $$ to help her pay some bills.

I've seen a number of the TJ incall girls, some on numerous occasions, and I was asked only one time to submit a review. That request was made by email after I was back home. Maybe they ask other people routinely, but in a dozen total visits to see four of these girls, I have only been asked the one time.

It all depends on the status of their business at the time.  When business is booming, there is no need to get a new review put in.   But when business is slow, or a provider is still just trying to get established, a review on TER can make or break them.

Some have, on occasions in the past, even tried to submit self-written reviews or written reviews for each other in order to promote business. When Staff changed their status to inactive, a name change was required and new reviews were promptly submitted by their regular clients.

I guarantee that you are not the only one who has been ASKED to submit a review.  And in your case, my guess would be that they had already seen your other reviews and made sure that you got a flawless session before they asked you to submit the review.

The key thing to remember here is that you are dealing with true experts in manipulation.  Be thankful for that because it is a large part of why you feel so good after a session with them.

Good observation, TJ... and indeed I am thankful for the manipulation. I suppose most of the best providers in TJ, SD or any other city in the world are expert manipulators. And we patrons of this oldest form of theatre think with the small head long enough to enjoy the smoke and mirrors routine, have some fun then be on our way. Better than being manipulated down the aisle where the price is higher, upselling never ends and the session much too long!
