I feel bad but, I can't feel too bad for the guy. He has a review history with the first being in 2013. I would worse for someone who doesn't know about these tools but this guy was clearly thinking with the wrong head and unfortunately got burned. Don't take the chance on someone who has zero reviews is the lesson to learn. Be smart everyone and do the research or go with a known friend. Glad nothing worse happened. It really could have been a lot worse. That was a really dangerous situation he put himself in and getting ripped off was bad but it might have been violent or could have been possibly even LE. Sending him good vibes and hoping he learned something through that encounter.
As Epicurus61 pointed out, the person who wrote the review only had 3 reviews. Regardless, it is a good refresher on why we should only see reviewed providers. On very rare occasions I have seen unreviewed providers, but I check them out as best as I can other ways. A girl has to start somewhere after all. Fortunately, my worst experience has been having to give a 3 to one on performance who had no reviews. Even when a lady has reviews we need to keep in mind that some could be fake and written by herself of friends. I even ran into a lady on P411 who seems to have done that with blatant misrepresentations in her TER profile and what must be fake reviews giving her 9's on performance.
I did one time. They were totally helpful, even though I did need to confess that the person who was threatening me got my number from CL at the time. I realize some hobbyists have to keep a low profile, but providers should definitely call the police if they are ripped off. If a hobbyist can, they should. Did you guys watch the Craigs List Killer on Lifetime several years ago? That guy ripped off who knows how many ladies, maybe a dozen and I think only two called the police. Criminals think we are easy targets because they believe we won't call the police. Vice is a separate branch of the law.
