As a marketer I get tweaked when brands get blurred. So when a newer provider sets up shop with the same name as a lady already established in the market, it bothers me.

I wanted to treat myself to a nice little hedonistic massage by that Genie of Jerk, the Heroine of the Hand, Michelle. Only to find that search produced two Michelle reviews stacked atop the other.

The “original” Michelle is younger than the “newer” Michelle who is actually older. Original Michelle is FBSM only while the newer Michelle is FS. But they both emphasize massage on their site, the newer Michelle is a licensed massage therapist, and the original Michelle will be getting her LMT in a couple months.

They’re both blond and the pix on their sites don’t help much either. The most discernable difference is their breast size: Michelle the Newer is a D cup, Original Michelle is a C. But I doubt if they’d cooperate by referring to themselves as D Michelle and C Michelle (or Big Michelle and Little Michelle).

I got a most memorable massage from Michelle C, the Original, so it’s no longer a problem for me. But for the sake of the Newbies out there I hope these two fine professional women can sort it out.
