I already know the site they sent the link for. It's not bad, but could be better. I view it as a small local club. Paying members can barley tolerate basic members and the reviews are written(and approved) in such a way that it's at times hard to tell if the guy even got laid. THAT is why I have decided to go back to being a basic member there. Great gals, a few nice guys, decent discussions at times, but the administrator rivals Hitler in his censoring of the boards and protection of his favorite gals or buddies (elite hobbyists). The only redeeming thing on the site is the "available today" board. I've been on there for years and always make a point to walk like I'm on eggshells when commenting or reviewing. Oh.....write a bad review and you can expect a message from the provider berating you and admin. will NOT have your back.
I agree that the site you refer to isn't great. The ladies here who are 500/hour are regularly 400/hour there and have additional specials in the same ad that's 100 cheaper than here on TER. The whole site is very clique-y and I advise the use of only the ad feature.
The other two sites are less active for San Diego however they are very useful tools for providers and hobbyists alike. The one I am most active on has amazing social events.
Its fallen apart from the head amphibian, now basic non-paid members can't even view the "ads" of providers who are available for work. I asked him to erase my account since there is no reason to even visit that board anymore. I give it another 6 months before most of the providers give up on it from lack of work coming from that site other than a few of the old timers. Poor little toad has nothing to offer on his board now that his head old time gent 19xx has mostly retired, that was fueling his content with the top hat pics/tags. all things end eventually.

You hit the nail on the head bub! I view that site as nothing more than a little club for a select few. I think it's great they do the happy hours(not my thing) and do other stuff to make them feel special, but I get a little peeved when I go to read stuff on the discussion and some elite member out of the blue berates a basic member for not paying his so called fair share. All I can say is that I much prefer this big pond over that little fishbowl .
I agree with both you and Goldie. I know the site you are talking about. I recently canceled my basic membership after the owner downgraded my basic membership so I couldn't even see the ads! He got mad that I dare tried to post something about one of his pets-unfavorable but true. It was the third time he had censored me- and the last. At least TER gives you some freedom of speech. The other site is too cliquey and geared to the owner's wants and quirks. It is disappointing, though, that the rates advertised are lower there than on this board. I've never quite figured that out. In any event, I'm glad to be here and done there.

Yeah -- I quit visiting that other site (I've been there since the VERY beginning) when the Head Amphib decided to lock basic members out of the provider ad area. Kind of a weird way to punish the providers, and that killed it for me. The reviews suck anyway. I won't be going back.

If I had a nickle for every time a provider thanked me for giving them a nice long hard fuck, they are always sick of all the old geezers from that site.
Amphibian used to beg people on CL to join his site long long ago, now he shuns the same people who pay the providers time and time again because they don't pay him so he can hobby for free. He must have missed a few classes of pimping 101 in junior college.
All joking aside I do feel sorry for the providers who suffer from the lack of work coming from his racket now. All I can say to them is join the crowd and use the racket that still works -- TER. Not a single normal guy on that site does not also use TER. Its a better ocean here than that drainage ditch.

Ladies join too! You can post ads with full menus and rates... Downside -- the rates are generally LOWER there and thus more competitive. If we being more high end ladies there we can potentially shift the market and show those guys better services and higher quality experiences than the average advertiser there!

Its really sad.... I was a member there when I first started getting interested in playing the game.. it seemed like a very welcoming "community" and was very helpful. I even recommended it to a girl thinking of visiting our find city from Vegas. I tried to go back.. can't see pics or profiles.. I even submitted a few reviews hoping that might get my foot back in the door. no dice.. I got harshly rejected and told to pay AND submit reviews.. wow.. so NO method to gain new users.. I hope the ladies on there understand the disservice they are being "provided". There are a lot of nice girls there and they deserve better.
...but what about the other sites. Actually I know of 3 good ones but don't know if we're talking about the same sites. Can you please PM me the other sites you know about?
I kind of thought that was one of them. Lol I, myself, barely get on there, well mainly to post, but it's not much of a site as to where I want to be wasting my time on! I am glad I am finding out more about this site and what it has to offer!

I find it pretty funny that the few knocks on the site being talked about in this thread are coming from the drama creators themselves... A person can review and receive full membership access for 2 reviews a month. There is a basic member entry system and there are lots of providers on that board. It is but one tool to use though and if you have a problem with how it is run then you have a right to exercise your right to not participate as you have, thank you for that
You have 2 reviews, over the hill, married, one shot non-msog, easily amused, your a perfect fit for that site. Go get a top hat and a cane and you can be the next gent putting tag's reviews up for the other geezers to gawk at because none of you have any real options outside of the hobby --take what you can get while your gear still works with blue pills.
