In most cases, probably not worth it, though I do it when I go to Club Expose.

For the "Velvet Lounge," you pay $200 to the club and get $180 back in funny money and access to the Velvet Lounge. You don't have to spend all of that on one dancer. It's not a private lounge. Still a bunch of couches in a room. The lounge is darker and has a bit more privacy. Slightly wider booths, but not noticeable. You get drinks for free and you can watch the stage without the dancers hassling you for tips. Best to ask the dancer if she will do everything different if you go up to the Velvet lounge instead of the standard lapdance room. Because of the more increased privacy, some dancers might do more.

You can also ask for a private nude dance if you go up to the Velvet lounge, though of course, no contact.

The Skybox is $500 and you get $400 back in funny money. The Skybox is supposed to be more private, since it's just the customer and the dancer in one room, though there's still an opening to see the stage. Again, free drinks, and girls don't hassle you for tips. Definitely not worth the club taking $100 of your money in my opinion. I've occasionally seen discarded condoms in there, so take that how you will...

I've had the best "almost sex" ever in the velvet lounge. For $30.00 a song, everything but the g-string came off and I had a full access pass to one of the most beautiful women I've seen anywhere. But remember, it's a strip club - it's about the fantasy, not about having sex. If you want sex, call an escort. It's certainly more cost  effective. They are different experiences and I love them both. Um, both of these fictional type experiences.

As a friend once told me...You can get fucked at a strip club, but you are not going to get laid...
