Best bars etc to explore in Downtown Portland?
So I'll be there this week and looking for input on must or kinda should go places. Bars, restaurants, etc...
Don't give me tourist stuff.. Where do you go. Might be setting myself up for a decoy but thought why not. I know the Kelly's is right near where I am staying and found myself there many times... Higgins was great too and will probably stop by there again.... What else is there? Who wants to join?Is there another board I should be going to for Portland?
I'm new so I don't know about the board question but Portland has so many bars and restaurants! where you go really depends on what you're into. Portland City Grill has a great view and happy hour, I think two happy hours actually. Mary's Club is considered a classic stop. Chopsticks has karaoke, another classic stop. The cocktails at Beech St Parlour are delicious, and the Lowbrow Lounge is another classic!

I know Portland like the back of my hand, but need to know more about what style of place YOU like? Classic? New? Ethnic? Wine tastings? Fine dining? Thai? Seafood? Late night? Music? Please give more info. to get the response you're looking for. I know nothing about gay bars/strip clubs, but if it's something other than that, I can answer your questions.
