Sorry for the vague inquiry. Was kinda directed toward Scarlet's reply but I'm open to any "gotta do" things for Portland. I'm staying in city center right by pioneer square. Not bothering with a car. On past visits in addition to Ale Fest I've strolled to Clyde Common, Andina the various street food vendors, the Olympian, Voo Doo donuts, even Mary's. So there's a wide variety of things to choose from and more for any of you to reccomend I'm sure. Just looking for a locals take on it. Doesn't have to be a list just a top 3 or something.
How about 1) fine dining 2) bar/pub/dive 3) wild card suggestion.

You know what baby! I do not go to Chicago until the 5th! Do you want to get together on the 4th??? Andina is a great restaurant and you will never believe this but I have never gone to Voo Doo donuts! LOL! Crazy huh? We can go there. I am in SW waterfront trendy nice area so I am close.
