I think its important to NOT simply call out the names of ladies who regularly post on the boards.  While their contributions are VERY welcomed and we all look forward to....lets attempt to mention new ladies in hopes they see/hear about it and decide to join in and contribute to the boards various threads.  I think we all know its a great way to get to know a bit about a ladies personality prior to actually being able to meet her.  Words can go a LONG way.  lol

How do you keep from posting the same reply every week?  Easy.  Watch more porn or come up with reasons other than you saw their vids that week.  

For example, had there been a thread this week, my pic would have been... Simony Diamond.  She is one of the hot Hungarian girls who have done a lot of porn over the years.  I think more than 200 films.  And she's incredibly hot.  I have no hope of ever meeting her because I know she's married, and wouldn't ever escort (or so I'm told when I've asked).  So, why would I pick her for Pornstar Friday?

Because, she's hot and her scenes are steamy.

Why would I pic her this week?  Because she celebrated her 27th birthday on Wednesday.

Other choices for me might have been Gauge, Teagan Presly, Leighlani Red or Bree Barrett... all hot women, all make me smile when I see them, and all somewhere on my wish list and all celebrating a birthday today.  Happy birthday ladies, wherever you are!!

I find the seeming persistent desire to shut down dialog and activity on this board counterproductive.

The focus on this being an advertising platform seems to have won the day at the expense of giving guys a reason to tune in....

Regardless of who knows and who don't having fun in and out of the PS board should be one of the reason to tune in here...

But it looks like that many appreciated that the PS Board could die slowly and without much suffering, instead of seeing what it should be: a platform for having FUN, and nothing else but FUN...

I simply agreed with Rubiroso, that if you want to name a girl for PS Friday, then you should have spent time with the girl.

This instead of every Tom, Dick  and Harry, posting about some girl,  whom they happened to catch a video clip of,  on the web over the weekend.

Now on to my reviews, I have said this more times than I can count, the men that book me and most PS's use BM, Eros etc.  to book, NOT TER.

The men that book most PS's, don't have the time nor inclination to post on TER.  The men that post on TER are a very small fraction of the men who keep BM and Eros in business.

TER is a fantasy land, mostly fluff, entertainment.

Now on to you, you have 9 reviews for 2010, and 26 for 2009, yet you say you rarely post a review, and by the way, although you did spend the big dollars a couple of times, your average is your famous, $300.00.

So I guess you post reviews for lower priced girls, but don't on the big name PS's, that's right, they are either UTR or don't want reviews.

I`m not going to start a new thread here and spotlight this note but after talking myself out of it more than once Ive decided to finally say something. I find your general attitude to be very testy and offputting.

You are probably correct, the written word doesn't always come across the way one intended it.

Having said that, I know I stand out from most if not all ladies, because I speak my mind, I post my opinion without concern that I may lose a booking or two.

I have been in this business a long time and a long time member of TER and I have always  conducted myself as professional as I can, and as direct as I can.

The question was posted should we have Porn Star Friday again,,,,,,,,I agreed with a previous poster, then I get personally attacked with an attitude from KR,,,,, of course I will respond, that is what you are not use to.

I viewed your comments as disparaging every "Tom, Dick, and Harry" who wants to comment on a pornstar Friday thread, or guys who see girls who charge $200 to $300, as implying that their opinions lack validity and should not be welcomed on a Pornstar Friday thread.  

I viewed your comments in that way (disparaging) for the simple reason that -- and this is not tricky to understand -- that is what you said.  

And I do RARELY post a review Kathy.  By my count, I have had 127 encounters (most with non-pornstars) so far this calendar year.  Now, I could waste my time posting on each encounter on this and other sites, but, uh, this is a hobby.  As you noted yourself "The men that book most PS's, don't have the time nor inclination to post on TER."  In almost every instance when I post a review, I do so thinking the girl might benefit from it.  A girl who can charge $1500 an hour or more needs little or no touting from me.

To take a timely example, if I was lucky enough to see the incredible Aurora Snow today (highly unlikely as my price point is my price point, though Aurora is one of a handful of girls including Stoya, Jenna Haze, Sasha Grey, and Taylor Rain, for whom that price point goes up a bit), there would not be a review posting....

If you want to say that your single review so far this year, your single review all of last calendar year, and your two reviews from two years ago are but the tip of a much larger iceberg, I am sure that is true.  It seems contrary to your logic that the non-appearance of a TER review means a girl is "either UTR or doesn't want reviews," neither of which apply to you, but, okay, I'll agree with your explanation.  

Perhaps you should accord the same respect to people who post on threads here and presume that they may have reasons why they post no or few reviews.  And, even if it is just a fantasy for them for now, why is that any skin off of your nose?

I've always viewed PS Friday as a way of voting for your favourites irrespective of whether they provide or not: the main criterion is that they are a porn star. Following your  suggestion Kathy would change the nature of the poll, in my opinion. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I just think it makes it a different type of poll. Of course, once you do that, there may be associated problems to work out(apart from the fact that guys have had to have seen the lady before voting for her. Can they only vote if they have written a review?) like is the lady still providing? Can you still vote for somebody who has now retired?

Personally I'm in favour of keeping PS Friday general where anyone can vote for anyone, but think it's worth looking at a separate poll along Kathy's lines (perhaps a monthly provider poll?).

I think it should be brought back, and I do not feel it should be limited only to those who have seen a PS or a PS someone has spent time with. Here's my thought process on this:

What about the UTR porn stars out there? Obviously if we limit who we can post to ladies we've seen you can't include UTR's cause that would basically 'out' them. So it would be limited to publicly available ladies. But what if there's a guy out there that's dying to see a lady that's UTR but he doesn't know it. Maybe if a guy posts a pic of a girl and someone comments along the lines of "Oh she's one of my fav's, I'd do anything to see her", then someone who knows she's available UTR can PM the guy and let him know that he actually CAN see her. Now this guy just had his day made, and it's all possible thanks to PS Friday and an open forum.

But regardless, this is a porn star board and you should be able to post any damn porn star you choose.

No disrespect Kathy, but you can't really tell from the reviews who the guy has seen and what his price range is or really much of anything about his habits or tastes.

For example, I have 18 reviews here, of which 4 are porn stars.  
Yet, in my years in the hobby, I've seen more than 300 girls (I think close to 500) and about 20 or so porn stars.  You are one of the porn stars I've seen that I did not review.  

Some of the ladies asked not to be reviewed because they are UTR.  A lot of my activity was before TER even existed.  And, time sometimes prevents me from posting a review close enough to the event to remember details so I don't post out of fairness to the lady.  Finally, since I became a moderator, I'm not allowed to post reviews.  There are other reasons...  

As for price ranges... well, the majority of the ladies I've seen have been in the 2-300 dollar price range, even when I was working and had about $20K disposable income each year.  Why?  Mostly availability.  I live out in NJ and there are few porn stars who live out here.  So, I only see them when they tour and there are rarely more than 10 in the NY/NJ area at any given time.  On the other hand, there are hundreds of providers out here at any given time in the $2-300 price range.  Do the math.

I'm sure I'm not alone.  Not everyone posts reviews, and guys don't post reviews for every woman they see.  And there are far, far, far, more $2-300 providers out there than there are porn stars.  So, you can't really tell much by the reviews...
