I don't think that's true.  She quit because of the way the industry does business.  I do not think she contracted an STD that she will have for life.

I've read the complaint that she filed against Vivid filed in 2004 and settled in 2007 in an undisclosed agreement.  Nowhere in the complaint does it say anything about her having contracted a life-long disease.  It does say that she contracted an STD on the set but that is a very small part of her complaint and is more about why she was terminated.  If she had contracted a life-long disease there'd be mention of it in the suit, and demand for damages.  That would get her BIG money if it were true.  However, the lawsuit is mostly about her wrongful termination, and the fact that she didn't get paid for scenes she had done, or for her website, or other financial issues.  There is no mention of her contracting a life-long disease.

Most likely, she contacted something like gonorrhea or chlamydia or something else that is curable with anti-biotics.

It's also worth noting that although her name has cropped up from time to time on various websites as being a provider, she has stated many times that she has never escorted and never will.  I believe that was her position back even before the events of the lawsuit and is still her position today.
