The print industry is in decline -- nudie magazines in particular. But before the days of the internet, we all bought stacks of Playboy, Penthouse, Hustler, etc.
Today, the only people who buy them regularly are older guys who aren't tech savy and people at airports who want something other than the in-flight magazines to peruse. So the question is: When was the last time you bought a nudie magazine? For me, I believe it was the Playboy 55th anniversary issue in January 2009.
In May 1999. Prior to that I was buying on average 6 magazines a month. I was amazed at all the free stuff I had at my disposal via the internet. Probably the only people who miss my magazines are the trash men.
... from 1978, one of the first mags I ever saw as a kid. Of course, if I coulda found the pictorial I was looking for online I would have just gone with that. Besides, all those mags take up so much valuable space and I don't want to end up like a hoarder.
