I'm looking scratch one off my bucket list and was wondering if "theluxurycompanion" is legit.  I saw a few reviews that would lead me to believe so but some of the listings seem highly suspect. PM me if you have any info.

IMO, this clearly shows that you haven't done any real research.  A search on this discussion board would turn up lots and lots of praise for TLC and Adonia from many guys and a search in the reviews section should turn up more than "a few reviews".  Asking if this agency is legit is like asking if fire is hot. :-
