The other thing is that I see their fees at ranges up greater than $1500. That's several dates with 'normal' escorts. I know the point is being with one of these specific ladies, but I have to wonder--from those who have actually been with one of these ladies--is it really worth it? Other than the psychological/fantasy factor, do these ladies really perform any better than a 'regular' provider?
How can you expect someone else to answer this question for you?
Certainly everybody is not for everyone. As it should be. You have to decide for yourself if it is worth it to you. If you go into any date thinking you overpaid ... then more then likely your expectations are not going to be met.

Yes - Pornstar's are worth it the first time, not sure about it after that.
I too; agree that photoshoped photos, no recent reviews/photos and sometimes their diva attitudes make Pornstar's not worth it at all. The psychological/fantasy factor is the point (well, at least it was to me). While my two experiences with porn stars have both been among the best sexual experiences of my life, yeah, I've had a couple of equally incredible experiences with other providers who charged significantly less. Risk of transmission of viral based venereal diseases is largely dependent on viral titer (# of infectious particles) present in the body fluid you are exposed to. It is pretty unlikely that in 5 days someone exposed or "infected" will be capable of passing it on to the next person. This is especially true with HIV where the time to increase infectious virus particles requires an incubation time (called latency period). Yes, its a gamble - as even a small exposure could result in you getting "infected" - but the risk IS NOT 100%.
Just to clarify - I am a physician and have done medical research using HIV-based viruses to purposely infect human cells in a laboratory.
Oh, one more thing - chronic exposure to even low levels of virus lower the threshold it takes to get infected. Meaning the more times you challenge your body with small amounts of virus that does not go on to result in infection - the higher the chance becomes that eventually a small amount WILL result in infection.

Like all things in life, the answer to this question will vary widely but in general be a function of these two primary variables. I have had the good fortune to spend time with a number of well known girls (Nikita, Alexandria Quinn, Venus, Alana Evans, Debi Diamond, Chennin Blanc) and all of those experiences were well worth it.
