There are no "ranches" in Las Vegas and for that matter in Clark County. You have to travel around 60 miles to Pahrumph in Nye County. There are two Ranches there. The Chicken Ranch and Sherry's. I couldn't find a website for Sherry's but the Chicken Ranch is at

You will find pictures of the ladies there. On occaision you might find a porn star but if that is what you are looking for you want to go to the Moonlight Bunny Ranch which is just outside of Carson City which is about 30 miles south of Reno.

Just spend $5 and join Netflix and rent the movie. It was an HBO series, too. It shows you the inner workings of the cathouses ("Cathouse" is the series title, too). But LEAVING vegas to look for pussy is like a New Yorker deciding to drive to Maine to look for tall buildings.... LV is ground zero for the most beautiful escorts on the planet.
Here's the thing. By law, cathouses are only legal in the least populous counties in Nevada. Translation. A round trip takes hours from LV.
Cathouses are on a 50-50 split, and the whole point of them is to negotiate with you to fleece -- yes, I said fleece -- as much out of you for as little delivery as possible. You can spend 1200 at a cathouse and find little satisfaction. Watch the HBO series and watch how they try to pluck every cent out of any guy who walks in the door.
By contrast, with about three minutes of searching on this website, or P411, then check her reviews here on TER, you can find any girl of your dreams for around $300 who will neither try to scam you out of more money nor leave you with blue balls.

My lone "ranch experience" involved a ridiculously long limo ride, a less-than-stellar selection of girls and a girl who "started the bidding" at around $2000. Needless to say, it was my first and LAST "ranch" experience.
Also, while girls are typically "available" in the bigger hotel bars, expect to get an aggressive "upsell" when you get to your room.

i went to Sheri's when i first got divorced, because it was LEGAL. I figured, if i got caught i didn't want to explain to a child custody judge why i was racking two hotties in a hotel room at the same time, while the babysitter had my kids at home.

Certainly the most expensive, and in the running for the worst experience, I’ve ever had was my one, and thankfully only, visit to a brothel; Mustang Ranch near Reno. Everything that has already been said in the negative I agree with. The selection of girls was limited, only two were attractive and young enough to even consider. Then when I picked the cutest and we went to her room the negotiations started. I ended up paying about $300 for a covered! BJ that did not even get me off. In fact all I came away with was a splitting headache. The girl even joked after (when I asked for some aspirin at the bar) that she gave good headache. This was about 15 years ago now. As others have pointed out, the closest two legal brothels to Sin City are found in the Nye County town of Pahrump, about an hour's drive due west of the Las Vegas Strip (which is in Clark County, where ALL forms of prostitution remain illegal). Both the Chicken Ranch and the Resort at Sheri's Ranch do occassionally feature adult film star courtesans, but most of the porn stars active in Nevada's brothels work up in the Reno and Carson City area houses (about 400 miles away).
You can brouse the various ranch websites to see photos and brief bios for many of their ladies and then choose to make an appointment (which really only reserves time for you to negotiate a "party" with her) or wait unbtil you arrive and then pick a gal directly out of a "line up". Either way, you then go back to her room (or a common "negotiations room"), and work out the details of your encounter. If for whatever reason you can't come to an agreement, you're then always free to (politely) walk away before any money is exchanged. Then you can either try again with another gal, or head out to a competing brothel (the Chicken Ranch and Sheri's are located right next door to each other at the south end of Homestead Road there in Pahrump).
Ladies' exact schedules can be tough to pin down, and change frequently, so it's usually better to just go and see who is available when you're in town, or call the house right before you leave on your trip. Be warned, however, that too many first-timers seem to get their hearts set on a particular lady after seeing her pics and perhaps exchanging a few e-mails with her, only to be disappointed to find her not actually available when they do finally get out to the ranch in person. So my personal recommendation is to not get fixated with any lady until you at least meet her in person first (unless of course you're looking for an encounter with a specific porn star courtesan).
