Yahoo Customer Service - hah!

Sent an email to the customer service dept. of Yahoo.  First you have to go through the rigamarole of going to their FAQ section then click on another link... Sent in my problem, and got a form letter telling me what kinds of photos they allow (jpeg, tiff, etc) then they told me that if you're trying to access from outside a yahoo server...blah, blah, blah.

If they had bothered to read me complaint, they'd have seen that I tried to access from several different portals, and that it had worked earlier for me, but then stopped.

Didn't address my specific problem, and obviously didn't check it out, since it's still not functioning.

They really do bite

not to be an ass, but the service is free, and with that, you get what you pay for....

by the way, i'm not sure what the terms of service say, but re-read them carefully.  i'm not so sure that pics you put on their server don't become their property.  if you use hotmail, your emails become property of ms....

anyway, there are plenty of other portals out there, and getting some server space just for photos is rather inexpensive....

i like ellipses....

it's usually not going to be answered by anything in a FAQ.  But, they don't really read the message and send me some non-sequitir boilerplate FAQ to me.  I then respond saying "please re-read" my request and then usually get a helpful response.
