The Adult Film Star Ball will be held in Denver this weekend and will include some of my favorite's like Shyla Stylez, Sara Stone, and Lacie Heart.  I'm looking for advice on how to approach one of these ladies for a private session.  I posted a message last week in regards to a recommedation for my first PSE and I think this event couldn't have come at a better time or place.  Any advice would be appreciated to include how to "break the ice" to a reasonable price range I can expect.  Thanks-

Unless you have some solid basis for doing so, don't do it.

These people act in movies, they may even enjoy doing what they do, but that is no reason that they have to expect everyone to think that they are escorts as well.

You could approach one of them.  Tell them how much you like their work, and see if any chemestry ensues, but even then, keep it on the friendly level.  If you are very lucky, they may even give you a smooch.

I strongly recommend emailing them rather than approaching them in a place where other judgemental porn stars are. Even if she does, she will probably deny that she does. Besides, this is a smaller event so I wouldn't risk getting slapped. Email them discreetly and you'll get much better results.

Also, in reponse to some of the advice I've been getting...  First, I would only approach girls that I know are active PSE's.  I've been following this board for awhile and have done my homework.  Second, there is no way I would ask one of the girls about a private session unless we were in a one on one setting, such as a private lap dance.    All I'm looking for is advice on how I should word the question if I am even able to get to that point.  Sarah, if you can provide the email address for Shyla Stylez I'd greatly appreciate it.  I agree that would be the best way but I've had no luck getting any direct contact info for her.

and do your homework, you'll be able to find out who does and does not provide.  A lot of these ladies are happily married or very UTR.  IMO that question should not be asked in that setting.  Any appointments should be arranged before the weekend.  If they have a website, you can email them and ask if they offer "private shows".

Do a search on this board for the "score method."  It's tried and true.

Another approach is when you have the chance to have a private discussion say "may I ask you you a discrete question?"  If she says yes, then tell her you've seen her listed on XXXX agency site and have heard great things on these boards, and that you'd like to book some private time if she has any time available while she's in town.  Then ask if you need to book thru the agency or can you arrange something discretely and directly with her.  This gives her the chance to be loyal to her agency if that's how she prefers, but also lets her know you're a hobbiest and can open the door for a private meeting at a better rate.  If you're discrete, and above all treat her with respect, you should be just fine.  Good luck and happy hunting.

Don't know why you're asking for advice here, as it seems you have all your answers. No "lecture" here from me

BUT ...

... you probably should be aware that ladirectmodels.com (I assume that's what you were referring to?) is NOT a PSE agency. It is an industry agency for adult movie talent. The girls (and boys) listed there are not listed there to advertise their availability for private sessions with fans. Some of them happen to be available for such entertainment, but not through ladirectmodels.com.

BTW, Shyla Styles looks at her email about once a month, so even if you had her email address, you'd need to be pretty lucky for her to even see it before this weekend.

Boneman got it right... it's all in how you ask.  Don't be a presumptuous ass, and you won't be treated as such.

The number one rule is that discretion is the key.  Most of these girls get asked the question regularly at these type of events.  However, the way you approach them makes all the difference.

Before going on, you also need to understand that in some cases no matter how you ask, even if they do provide they might say no... some PSEs just don't admit that they're available to a stranger in a public place.

That being said, here's what I've found works the best (for me, at least).  

Avoid long lines; try to get to the event when the floor traffic is lightest.  Make sure when you approach the potential PSE that you're going to have the opportunity to talk to her without company reps, agents, other pornstars or her husband/boyfriend hovering near her.  

Be respectful, make some small talk about what a fan you are, and then casually ask her if she ever meets her fans privately.  If she says yes, tell her you'd like to get together with her while she's in town and ask her how you can contact her later that day.  

If she say no, thank her for her time.  If you have a business card with your contact number and you don't have a problem giving it to her, hand it to her and say "if you change your mind please call me" and walk away.  If you don't have a business card, write your name and number on a piece of paper (do it in advance and have it in your pocket) and give her that instead.  The business card is better because it show her that you're likely to be legitmate.

I've had girls say "no" on the show floor and then call me that night after they're done for the day and are alone and able to talk more freely.

Depending on the event, sometimes you'll have a better chance getting a "yes" answer if you approach them AFTER the show is over for the day.  Do some research and find out what hotel most of the girls are staying at.  For example, AVN is held at the Venetian Hotel and 99% of the pornstars stay there, so you'll see them in the bars, clubs and restaurants in the evening.  In that environment they're away from the producers, agents and other industry people and may be more willing to disucss the possibility of a private meeting.  Also, they may have had a few drinks and might be a little less discrete themselves.  I met Shyla Stylez at the Circle Bar in the Venetian; I had had a few drinks so I was a little bolder than I usually would be, and I think Shyla had had a few as well.  I walked over to her, waited for a few minutes until I could talk to her quietly and then simply said... "I think you're the hottest women in the business and would love to get together with you... would you mind giving me your phone number?"  To my surprise she wrote it on a napkin and handed it to me; to my even greater surprise it really was her number!

The downside to approaching a PSE at a bar or restaurant is that they're usually with their pornstar girlfriends or their husband/boyfriend, so the key word is PATIENCE! You have to bide your time and make sure when you do approach them you're not going to be putting them on the spot or embarrassing them.

One other thing... It doesn't hurt to drop a few names of other PSEs you've met and/or are friendly with.  And if any of them happen to be at the same event, ask them if they can help you arrange a meeting with the pornstar you're interested in.

I've had a lot of success using this approach.
