Just got a nasty call from a well known porn lady..I referred a friend to see her and at the last minute he got cold feet and canceled..

So my question to you is what can give you cold feet that you would consider canceling or just simply canceling?

A) Her rate
B) Watch some of her videos and didn't like it
C) Charged you a higher rate than the last time (ie not grandfathering you in)
D) Realized your money could be better spent elsewhere
E) Her reviews
F) Her posts
G) After so many emails you finally talk to her and her voice or mannerisms just turn you off

If I missed something let me know.

D

H) Her chosen incall location is a known hot spot for LE.

just my 2 bits.

The only thing that would ever give me cold feet is "buyer's remorse" about a girl's rate.

As I mentioned below in my lost opportunities thread, I had scheduled an appointment to see Sana Fey and Taylor St. Claire (who were best friends) for two hours including video taping privileges... When I booked the date, my little head was doing the thinking... later, when my big head took over, it balked at the price, so I canceled the appointment.  Howeever, I gave the agency plenty of notice; it wasn't a last minute thing.

and I'm still kicking myself in the ass for wimping out!  If I had it to do all over again, I'd have kept the appointment.

to contact them or get appointment information. I understand the idea of stars having paysites, but if you are going to provide, have a seperate website dedicated soley for appointment information. A good example would be Sammie Sparks. She has a paysite and, at least when she was providing, had a seperate site for hobbyists that nothing but appointment info.

Unless the provider eats people for food!

After making the decision there is no looking back, no second guessing, I'm committed. It's in the decision making process where I work through all my doubts and misgivings.

you have the appointment all set with a lady you have seen before..Than you get an email saying "I know last time you paid me 'x' but I have since raised my rate $500 more dollars because I feel like I deserve it"..

Would there still be no second guessing? Or would you pay the extra $500 and still see her?

I would decline also.

when a decisions is made and it includes the fee one is willing to pay. If the provider sends a new rate after a decision is made, new rate is new factor and the decision is reevaluated. At that moment, previous decision had erroneous data and needs to be revised.

Of course it would require the big head engaging properly!

Private Mail feedback - been there backed out.

I pulled out of my first scheduled appointment (a double with Lanny Barbie and Kimberly Franklin -- kicking myself doesn't begin to describe my regrets!) for a variety of reasons, but mostly because I was green.  I have not backed out of an appointment since, but I have definitely declined to book on many occasions due to sticker shock, reviews (or lack thereof), and getting turned off during the communication process.

Any/All of those might factor into making the appt itself, but once it's done I keep my meeting unless something beyond my control comes up and prevents me from keeping the day/time, as someone else mentioned once I get the location it's a known trouble spot or a place I've had issues w/ before, or something changes in our original agreement that's not to my liking.

If things stay on course, once I've made my appt I keep it. All of the issues you listed above, IMHO, are issues dealt with (or should've been dealt with) when setting up the appt in the first place and to me are not reasons to cancel.

vibe is important to me, so i'd punt if she turned me off...though i havent booked if i she gave me a limpy on the phone, lol
