Simply put, of COURSE the ladies don't want it out there that sometimes their services can be had for discount rates. Maybe they want to save it for regulars that are a pleasant time (relatively speaking) and don't want every guy with halitosis and a bad attitude to think "hey, it's discount time". Maybe it's only for a couple of weeks until she makes rent, because the dog needed a $2000 operation.
And let's face it- if a lady, PS or otherwise, tells me "I will give you (rate considerably below public rate), but this deal is only good if you don't tell a soul- if I find out you squealed, you're cut off"... well, sorry, guys, but in this case, the kitty always wins. The most I can suggest is:
- Saying like "well, you're obviously worth everything you charge, and I wouldn't offend you or waste your time by trying to haggle, but I'm sorry, I'm only prepared to pay (dollar figure)" doesn't strike me as rude when you're inquiring about rates- I've recalled our esteemed moderator Fast Eddie saying he has said things like that, and sometimes gotten some counterproposals and success. - don't go in ever expecting to get anything more than you paid for (that's a recipe for disaster), but if you are considerate and thoughtful, you may be surprised what you end up with - keep scouting out there. Sometimes, you have to go through a lot of coal to get to the diamonds. It seems to me Kevin Roby has done us all a lot of favors by his 300 Club...

So there is a bunch of talk about how there are PSE's booking at lower than their asking rates. I have seen the 300 club and currently booking something special with one of it's members. But if their are girls out there booking for less than asking then where are the details??? I read the reviews and none ever say hey I booked this hottie at a 30% discount? So on one side the providers say their rates are non negotiable and if you even ask you will be drawn and quartered or some similar fate. Which ya know I don't blame them for saying. Then on the other side there are guys on the board saying that there are cut rate deals out there. So where is the proof? Where are the details? Or is this only for those "in the know" getting a "friends & family" discount?

With a few rare exceptions, those that bang the drum that they can get any "A list" PSE for a fraction of what the PSE is asking for openly do so without telling the whole story/truth...
One has found a "loophole" of sorts between girls escorting and girls shooting movies/scenes...
Another has his own ties to the adult industry and is able to exploit those to get lower rates
Others say they can get these great reduced rates yet have no reviews and/or refuse to ever share their contacts or information so you should draw your own conclusions as to their credibility
Some are just making stuff up because they want to stir the pot, hate that PSE's can get what they ask for and/or are hoping that the "A-list PSE" will drop her price significantly so they can afford her
Others, no doubt, have different likes and dislikes and seek out different levels of PSE's than you might or I might
Then there are the select few who actually do openly share information, approaches, suggestions and the like based on their own research and/or experience in the hobby.
I think you are reading too much into Kevin's list. It is the exception and not the rule. After all this isn't the dollar store.
If you want cheaper rates for certain "name" stars you are going to have to travel to London. Porn Stars usually have lower asking rates there than in the states. If she averages $$$$ in the states you can probably see her in Europe (if she travels there) for a mid to high $$$ after conversion rates.
