I have a question that perhaps someone more "expert" in the captioned field can address.  A friend measures 39 inches across the nipple and 30 inches just below the breasts (I measured them myself).  Can anyone tell me what the proper cup measurement is?  I think its DD or E, but I'm not sure.

It must have been a man who came up with the measuring criteria.  It's strangely complicated.  If your measurements were accurate it would seem that your friend is a DD-cup.

I always thought that if the entire breast could fit in your mouth, it was a C cup.  If it could not, it was D or above.

Thanks, Ed.  I did a Google search before I posted and found not only the site you attached but several others which had conflicting information, one of which explained that what I measured (joyously I must add) was an "I" cup, which I thought dubious but somewhat confusing; that's why I went to the attention of experts, the readers of this forum.

Kathy, yours sure do look good!!!

Cup size is independent of bust size. If you measure the circumference of the lady, that is her bust size. The cup size is the actual size of each individual breast. Therefore, a bigger lady will have a large bust size but can have a small cup size. Also, a smaller woman can have a small bust size but a large cup size. I hope this helps.
