I've wondered that myself. I'm fascinated by the business side of this thing of ours. I live in Nashville where we seem to get more than our fair share of pornstars and other higher priced ladies passing through. They seem to do well and keep busy here, so maybe it's more about money than the size of the city.

I know the first thing people will say that winters are to brutal. Spring, summer & fall are spectacular up here, granted it's only a couple of months.... (just kidding) I've also hear through channels that most PS think we are cheap up here in The Cities, not true.

totally agree. You hardly ever see one even feature dance in MN.
I mean it is a great pit stop on your way from coast to coast.
I read posts in the past attacking providers who charge above the average on the Minnesota board...I guess they stay away for that reason
The most likely reason is that they have not had good successes in the past, and they feel that the costs involved (plane fare, hotel, food, etc.) are too high for the amount of business that they get.
I have traveled to both cities and quite enjoyed myself. For me it's harder finding the time to tour in between work.

I'm amazed by the fact that some of us don't remember that this is a business. (I'm guilty sometimes also). Despite the fact that so many ladies enjoy their work, it's still a business that allows them to earn income. If a city is notoriously known to be slow for traveling ladies, then they'll go elsewhere. Simple supply and demand. It sounds like ATL needs to support the visiting stars that DO go...when that happens I can guarantee others will follow.
Part of the reason is related to the strip club scene in one's area. I live in the middle of nowhere, but there is a good strip club nearby that features porn stars on a regular basis. If strip clubs are not booking girls to feature dance, then they have little reason to come to town, unless a hobbyist is willing to pay for airfare on top of the fee. Check your local strip clubs' event calendars to see who is feature dancing. Porn stars may be coming to Atlanta, but sometimes agencies do not always do a good job of keeping touring schedules up to date.
I can say that is definitely not the case here. Nashville's strip club scene SUCKS, but we still get quite a few pornstars passing through providing. Since I've lived here, I've only seen two different stars feature dance here. The club in Huntsville does a better job of bringing in features than the clubs here do.

Honestly.. I have conversed with a lot of former and current porn-stars who are providers and honestly ATL competition of ladies offering services is really stiff. Not only is there a independent provider around nearly every corner inside the perimeter(the highway loop) and at the edge; but you have an amazing number of Asian Massage parlors that offer HE, Full Service and even a few GFE. Compound that with the strip clubs that are fully nude, with some girls offering full service in VIP with BBBJ then you have very tough competition.
Now that is not to say that this doesnt happen in other cities like Vegas etc etc etc... but Vegas is a touristy Sin City... a lot of outside ppl go to Vegas just for providers. However, ATL has a lot of money and a lot of ppl but I think most of the hobbyist live in or around the area so I personally think it is a more mileage for your money and more options type deal in ATL.
Then most providers dont look at the the cost of living differences between cities in their advertisement. Charging $3,000 an hour in ATL will probably get you fewer clients than you would have in LA, NY or Vegas. Just compare the housing prices .. you can get a 4,000-5,000 square foot house in ATL for about $300,000 to $350,000 in a decent ATL neighborhood ; in Vegas or LA probably 3 times that.

I have tried visiting ATL 3 times in the past because it is not far from when I live in Alabama. Each time I had a similar experience, plenty of people inquiring but very few that were willing to be screened or give any information about their selves. And at the time I was charging much less than I do now.
my home base is in ATL & there are only 3 really good months to " tour " Atlanta the rest of year is " okay "
OCTOBER /NOVEMBER / DECEMBER during the coldest time . alot of medical conventions are in the hotel near the airport
to be honest with you i have no clue way ps providers never come to atlanta but they are missing out HONESTLY
alot of gentlemen ask me the same question
