I was a freshman in college and I believe every room on my dorm floor had that poster on the wall...sometimes two per room!
By all accounts she was a real sweetheart. We lost a real Angel but heaven gained one!

I just found masturbation around the time of that poster and I must admit it was the source of my jerking for a long time!

I didn't have it but had a number of friends who did.   If I had a dollar for every time EVERY guy in the world whacked off to that poster, I would be in the Forbes Top 50 list

Probably not a good thing to say with her passing, but that about sums up her beauty and popularity among teenage through whatever age men had a copy of it on their wall

We will all miss her dearly !!

You could care less about MJ. Well too many people judge him on recent events in his bizarre life. You are too quick to forget what he has contributed to our society and culture. A legacy that goes far beyond his music. When I hear the radio play all his old music, it takes me back. You don't realize how much of him was in our lives. Ever since grade school, his music had always been a defining aspect of pop culture, music, videos, media, he will be missed throughout the world. You can't really say that about many people.
So even if you were never a fan, please show a little respect.

I'm sorry, but I can't respect a pedophile who only got away with it because he could afford to pay $20,000,000 to the (equally reprehensible) parents of the child(ren) he molested.

And let's be real - "what he has contributed to our society and culture"??? I must have missed the part where they gave him the Nobel Peace Prize.  He wrote and sang songs.  Period.  End of story.  Good songs, yes.  Songs that influenced other musicians, yes.  Songs that gave many of us pleasure, yes. But it amazes me what people are willing to forget and forgive just because someone is a celebrity.  As Chris Rock said, if O.J. hadn't been a famous football player, today he'd be known as "Orenthal James Simpson, the cab-driving murderer."

It's a good thing Hitler or Joseph Stalin couldn't sing or play a professional sport.

Respecting a person's talent doesn't mean you have to respect the person.

I can't believe you are comparing Hitler to MJ. What Hitler did is totally different and on a global scale. I guess you did miss what he has done in the past. Maybe you weren't around yet,nor old enough to remember. Back in 1985 he produced the United Support of Artists for Africa, widely known as USA for Africa. He brought together 40, I think, of the top recording artists to sing a song to raise money for hunger in Africa. Not an easy feat to do. Also personally invited to the White House during the Reagan Era and awarded an award for his personal achievements.
True I admit, I was weary of his actions as of late. But before all the scandals, he was a force to be reckoned with, which spanned furhter back then most remember, matched only by the Beatles and Elvis Presley.
