so is flashdancers the spot?? I have gotten a few emails with that club being recomended. I may try VIP as well but I am leaning towards flashdancers. Not as a feature though, I just wanna be a noraml chick:) thanks thought it just doesn't make sense, those jerks

I get to scores. Just spent money on costumes, ugly required shoes, and much time getting dolled up. It was supposed to be the night I was to start. . . at least that was what I was told. "Thanks, but we don't usually hire pornstars". My ego. . . wow what a knock!! Lets call corporate:)   I may try VIP but as of now I am feeling rather. . . shot down:(   Much thanks to those who did stop by.

There are many clubs in the NY area which book porn stars for feature dancing.  For example, Gossip, Wiggles, Legz Diamond, The Scene etc.  You might want to try some of these clubs which are more receptive to the ladies of porn.

Definately a load of BS.  Savanna Samson who is a Vivid contract girl started as a dancer at Scores.  I bet they have no problem if and when she wants to dance because of all the publicity her appearances on the Stern show have generated.  F@#k those hypocrites.  Someboy was probably looking for a BJ and when they didn't get it your job suddenly disappeared.  It isn't who you know Candy, it is who you blow.  Once again, F@#k them!

Besides which, Scores has just been "outed" by Chauncie Hayden of Steppin' Out magazine for having some of their dancers provide bj's to certain favored clientel.

Now far be it from me to come down on a strip-club for providing sexual favors, under the table as it were. What does bother me is the hypocritical, holier-than-thou attitude that they are demonstrating with you.

I live part of the year in Vegas and I can think of a dozen PSs who have danced in Vegas, and as you know, many live here year round as well.

I don't know how it works in NYC, but in Vegas, they charge the girls to work, and I'm guessing it's not any different there, unless you're a feature, but then again, Crazy Horse Too, OG, Spearmint, etc, don't contract with features as a rule.

Most ridiculous (and hypocritical) thing I've ever heard. Guy was obviosuly angling for extras.

You are too good for that high-price snobby place like Scores - there are places like Gossip, Flashdancers and Wiggles to name a few that showcase pornstars who dances.  Will hope to find some time in my schedule for a return visit since my last visit back in July.

Amen Doc. I'm one of the guys who went to Scores Friday night specifically to see Candy. I already emailed her privately about clubs in New York she should try instead. I regret not saying something to managment when I was there, but I didn't know they let her go. I assumed I just got there too late.

candy - don't sweat the scores thing - IT IS THEIR LOSS baby.  flashdancers is probably the #2 rated club in NYC - not as many high rollers as scores, but less attitude and BS - you will wind up being their number #1 dancer if you go there i bet.  good luck, sweetie

Being one of Candy's close Seattle friends and supporters, I am really pleased with the response I have seen here on this board.  I have always believed that Candy was underrated and now I see she has the support of many of the old-timers from the TBD, the guys that made that board.

I am going to try flashdancers but keep my "porn" a secret at first. I was thinking of HS show, however even if he did phone scores, I don't wanna dance there anymore. Negative vibes!! YUCK!! So, I was thinking of going by flashdancers on thursday night and then maybe VIP if I get turned down. I kinda miss dancing. I also want to do something that has a more structured schedule;) Well, for a while anyways. But anywho, I will be in Atlantic City next week and hope to see my friends there!! I will be seeing one of you very soon and you know who you are:)
