Excuse my ignorance here first! as a lover of porn and a student i'm doing a report on STDs for school.
everyone notices some bumps on performers male and female in porn here and there,maybe just razor burn etc. But herpes is pretty much the lamest of STDs from what i read ,it hangs around yes, and may cause an outbreak rash but that's it! With that being the case is it pretty common among performers to have it? any help appreciated! thanks

Herpes in porn is about as normal as the sun rising every day.

There are different tiers of tests and the lower ones might not include Herpes, but TTS does include Herpes Simplex Virus I/II IgM in the full panel.  Check the link below.

They might provide test without HSV so it won't say on the paper positive or reactive, which would exclude the porn actor/actress from getting business.  From that POV, it is "better" not having the mention of a reactive HSV test, if the person knows they have it.

That's why when you go to Talent Testing Services and you get a STD panel done Herpes isn't one of the tests.

They say 1 out of every 4 people carry the herpes virus.  Some people don't know they have it because they may never have an outbreak.
