I was wondering what the general rule of thumb was on taking a photo with a PS during a session (I know some charge and some don't). and if so, when during the session that might be allowed. Also, would it be out of line to asked them to signed a photo or dvd? Any advice would be appreciated...

Ask! Don't get your hopes up, BUT I've had most grab my camera and take em without me asking! So...YMMV. Ask in advance to avoid any disappointments.
And signatures are easy...almost a given. But don't expect them to bring 8x10s or DVDs for you, although multihour dates might get you gifts!

true about that. a few months back someone from this forum posted pics of an encounter with miko lee. they were on the board for a while til someone noticed and delted the post..
rule of thumb: keep your pics to yourself..
they're not intended for the internet!!!!!!!!

Are you inquiring about Still photos, or videos?  I've done both, but, as others have suggested, ask BEFORE the session has begun. Also as others have written, you must treat these "memento's" as PRIVATE unless you ask her to sign a Release Form.  That will usually cost.

Also, if you are thinking about video, search this forum for posts on this subject from Fast Eddie. If you want something that actually looks and sounds like a real Porn Flick, you've got to put some serious effort into it. Even the POV videos require work. Again, a lot of the technical questions are covered in Eddie's various threads.  Lastly, you have to be prepared to stay "up", otherwise this will be a pretty lame video.  Take the little pill and go fot it.

Thats why I've never worried about movies.  I have taken shots of several ladies mostly what you'd see in magazine solo shoots - just not the same quality:)

The there are the times I've forgotten to even take the camera out. Never did get a second chance with Kiki Daire.

At the same time, it can provide you with some incredible memmories!   A few years back, a British PSE was visiting me and we got to talking about people in "the business".  She mentioned a particular lady who I've gotten to know well enough to shoot a half dozen or so 'private videos'.  When the young Brit heard that I knew so-and-so she became incredibly interested, like this lady was an 'idol' of hers. So, of course, I fished into my bags and pulled out a DVD of one of our 'encounters'. I played the DVD for her and she watched intently and was very, very quiet. At the end she turned to me and said, very ernestly, "You could make a lot of money with that".  Only in my dreams, I'm afraid.
