I remembered that this past Christmas Eddie posted a very thoughtful message to the people of TER.

I re-read it about a dozen times today, and frankly it's tough holding back tears.

I said before I never met Eddie face to face, never spoke with him directly.  Our only contact was via email (most of it when he tried to organize a membership-based 'pornstar weekend' many years back).  I have also been an e-mailer with a couple of Eddie's female friends on the board (Kathy Willets, Robbin Young), and I wanted to write them to offer my condolences, but really had trouble finding the right words.

The only friend of Eddie's I ever met in person was Alex Arden back in 2005.  I know they were very good friends, and to her I offer my most heartfelt wishes.  I had an old email address for her (not sure if it works or not) but also am at a loss for words as to informing her of Eddie's passing (I am going to assume that she has found out by now, but I could be way wrong).

Anyhow, back to the main reason for this post.

Eddie went through a very rough stretch starting in mid-2008 and got lots of support from his friends on TER, guys and gals alike.

I thought that his message to TER was worth re-posting.

Awwww... That Christmas posting was so sweet....
He was such a sweet man with a kind heart. We on this board were not just fellow providers and hobbyists. We were his family. And that is how he thought of us.  

This board meant a lot to Eddie and he dedicated himself to it and to all the people on it. He always gave great advice to the men and ladies who posted here. He was a big help to me when I first arrived on the PS board.  

I met Eddie back in the Exotica days and we became fast friends. We would talk on the phone a few times a month. And anytime  I was in Philly he bought me dinner.  In-fact, he did that with a lot of the girls who came thru.. Stevie, Loni, Kathy W, and Sarah Jay just to name a few.  And he never forgot a birthday. Since I have known him he has sent me an e-card for my birthday and for Christmas.  He was a good friend and I will miss our talks about old movies, cooking and sports... Especially football. He loved his Eagles.   It's funny you would think the two of us would talk the whole time about porn. But we mostly talked about the silver screen and how we both thought Raquel Welch was so damn HOT!! (She still is too) Plus, we always exchanged cooking recipes.  OK.. Yes, we chatted  a little about porn but we would talk about old school porn.  I am really going to miss our chats..

He had a very tough time ever since the fire and losing his aunt. But after the fire Eddie's heart was warmed by all the love and support he received from TER. He was really over-joyed and overwhelmed by the donations and good wishes.  

Thank you Eddie for the memories... Until we meet again...
May you Rest In Peace and know that we all miss you and you will always be in our hearts...
