Question #1. Am I the only one who has loss attraction to certain porn stars since the invention of Twitter and other social network sites?  I blame myself more than anything for adding them to my twitter and other sites .. thinking it would be hot. It has turned out to be anything but. In my own naive mind, I guess I thought I would be updated with club appearances dates, the occasional pic upload or perhaps, a naughty story or two.. Wrong!! All I ever see are " I hate her, she's a bitch, these hoes are haters"  updates. I think I totally have screwed up the fantasy of the vids I have seen them in and wish I could take it back. Seeing them perform scripted, albeit minimal lines, I had a different view of them.. but I have come to learn some can barley put together a complete sentence. More my fault than there's I suppose. There are some wonderful stand outs however, like Sara Jay.. She keeps it light hearted and does give updates and is drama free.. It just makes her all the more desirable to me

Question #2. Are you less incline to see a performer that keeps a high profile on social network sites? There have been a few stars I wanted to see but when you see there internet presence, they dont seem to really value privacy and in some case the privacy of there "basketball playing" clients. While I am not a celeb ( by any stretch of the imagination) and therefore at a lower risk of being exposed for a pay day, it still gives me pause.. what are your thought?

And that is fucking on or off film! I mean 99% of the guys do not care about how their day is just like they do not care about our day..

There have been many times where I did not follow thru on an appointment because of what they said on these social networks..They are better off keeping their mouth shut and just showing naked pictures of themselves..

I too thought it would be great to follow some Pornstars on Twitter. Also a chance to see some up close photos of them. In reality you get to see what there gonna eat or shopping for, etc. Then you get to read their posts, it's kinda of a big turn off. Another point; a lot of these Pornstars think their posse of followers are strictly their own, but in fact most have signed up for every Pornstar they can find. A couple that really were turn offs:

Michelle McClaren really full of herself and tough. A real hard edge on her with a very foul mouth, no softness.  

Teri Weigel comes off as moody and always trying to get the attention of mainstream stars like Ashton Kutcher, George Lopez, Tom Cruise, etc. with the Playmate/mainstream actress angle.

Facebook is the same as Twitter. The dumbing down off the world! Everyone wants constant attention!

The pornstars who are likely to "tweet" are for the most part the younger ones, and as such are no different that other teenagers or twenty-somethings; they are, for the most part, self-absorbed and worried about the same things other girls in their age group are; which girls are bitches, who's fucking who... it's the same thing you'd hear being discussed in any high-school.

That's one of the reasons I generally prefer more mature PSEs... I can usually hold a conversation with them without wanting to blow my brains out.

That being said, no, I'm not less attracted to a girl who tweets; I couldn't care less, as long as when I'm with them they're fun and we can relate to each other.

Reminds me of John Mayer's comment about Jessica Simpson. He said sex with her was like being on  drugs. She was his crack and even called her "Sexual Napalm."

Let's assume John Mayer's comment is true, why hasn't she been able to hold on to a boyfriend?

It would seem she is very much like all the immature twenty-somethings that Eddie referred to and if her reality show revealed anything, it was that she is not the brightest bulb either.

But damn if she were openly available provider, you know the line would be all the way to China of guys wanting to see her, especially after Mayer's comment.

you guys are right.. It's these younger ones.. That's why I really only stick to 30+ year olds. Update.. I deleted much needed dead weight from my twitter.. Hopefully I will enjoy vids and hobbying again lol.

I have followed a few pornstars but only the few that I have been seeing for years now and sometime spend personal (non-business off the books) time together.  That being said I had to cancel some of the other PS that i followed that really did not know personally.  One (not to mention a name) would post like 100 times per day and about stupid stuff.  Could not understand who would want to know this crap..Another would actually get into arguments with other pornstars and reveal really personal nasty stuff about each other.  BTW, i don't really get facebook either.  The real friends i have I keep i touch with but sometimes when I do open my facebook account there are a ton of messages from some guy I have not seen in 10 years about how many times he took a crap that day or some other BS.  I can't figure it all out, so I stopped with watching either FB or twitter.

I thought is was just me. I have been so sick of the whore wars on twitter. So not a turn on. plus. I have seen many instances where they post about "dates", names arent reaveled but sometimes are hinted at. Is it so hard to just SHUT THE HELL UP? in my opinion, closed mouths will get paid and big mouths will get nothing (sorry, couldnt find anything good to rhyme with paid)hehe

There was some interest there until that twitter video got released of her blabing about that basketball star.  Ladies some descression please!

I find the whole twitter phenomenon tiresome. I get asked in emails all the time why I don't twitter. When am I going to start tweeting. Etc. Etc. A - I don't have the time for that nonsense, and B - Twittering is nonsense.

Simple solution to the OP's dilemma though. Just stop reading it! *wink*

I agree but i think, some of the postings here are by their agents. The true veteran porn girls seem to be cool and communicate normally, but i know what u mean.

There are lots of older women who tweet a lot also. I don't think it's an age thing. Half the porn stars I follow are over 30 for sure. I think people tweet to get attention, either personal or for their business. They tweet to share their knowledge (or lack thereof) and some use it to communicate - that is until the next thing comes along.

Anyone who can't keep their mouth shut when they're supposed to is someone I wouldn't hang out with no matter who they are.

I agree with you 100%. Jayden James was one of my favorite porn stars. Her body is absolutely out of control. Then I started watching her myspace/youtube video rants and now I can't even watch her scenes anymore because I'm so disgusted by the things this girl says and her overall attitude. Eddie nailed it, a lot of them are still very immature and we forget just how young they really are. Some of these girls are 2 years out of HIGH SCHOOL!!!

I can not believe the responses to Question #1.  This is the last place where I would expect personal qualities to interfere with the primary mission.

Haven't you ever let a hot girl pick you up even though she had qualities you despised?  You're only renting.  Why let things that don't matter interfere with the chance she might have skills and totally fuck your brains out.

I can't give you an answer to Question #2 because I've never see the tweets and post you are talking about.  It doesn't seem like a problem because I wouldn't expect anything to happen worth tweeting about.  It's not like she going to tweet "I love this guy Twittnot that I hooked up last night.  I would almost let him do me for nothing.".  

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have to worry about folks seeing who you are following more than what a porn star might be tweeting about?

Pornstars (at least those who provide) are selling a fantasy. By allowing reality to intrude whether it's on Twitter, MySpace or Facebook, they're killing the fantasy for their potential clients. Dumb idea.

Best definition I've seen for Twitter:

Twitter = Instant Messaging for Ego-Maniacs.

I think the whole myspace / twitter era we currently live in will come full circle in a few years, where the 'cool' people are those you have maintained their privacy during this time, and don't have their life story plasted all over the internet.
That's my opinion on the social networking sites in general - bit different in the case of pornstars who are marketing themselves, whether that be a good thing or a bad thing for them.
Can't believe society has gone from one that values their privacy, to one that can't wait to disclose their private business to the world
