Yes, throughout the early/mid aughts porn sites were covered in malware and viruses. But legit site operators realized how that and its attendant bad rep were cutting into their bottom line and started investing in virus protection. These days you should feel comfortable viewing the big name sites (at the very least).
To tell you the truth, I don't know what I really saw in it, and I'm glad to be putting my time into other pursuits, like watching Parking Fails on You Tube. 8o)
