I guess maybe i was disputing the facts to a certain extent. Mainly though i took issue with her original statement that the reason she did not attend porn conventions is because most of the girls that attend are also escorting while in town. What the hell that has to do with her is beyond me. Anyone can do what the hell they want to at those conventions. I'ts their own personal choice. See, her and i went back and forth about the who PSE thing last year. What it boils down to is this: She has a huge problem with it. It's just become sooo difficult for her to admit it because the majority of the girls, many who she works with, are openly providing and she does not want to alienate them. Hence her faux apology. She does have a legitimate gripe about the potential health risk, but judging from things she has said in the past one can't help but get the impression that she thinks for whatever reason she should get more respect than the girls who chose to provide simply because she choses not to. She used to be under the illusion that somehow what she does on screen is different than prostitution simply because it is done on camera and the paycheck is from some studio and not an actual client. Last year i broke it down to her that, in a nutshell, what she does on screen is actually no different than what they do. Doesn't matter if you are paid by a client or some damn studio, at the end of the day you are still being COMPENSATED for sex acts you are performing. PERIOD. Unless of course the work is done pro bono, which i know is not the case.

If you go to AIM and get the same test as any male performer in the industry, and the PSE is recently tested as well, then what is the difference between escort bareback sex and video bareback sex?
MOST PSE's will see clients bareback if you provide a recent AIM test. I even had one email me when she heard I was coming into LA on business and say she would let me bareback her in the ass if I got tested. And this was a bigger name in the industry.

It seems to me that the experience of having sex for the camera *might* feel differently to a woman than having a session with a client. Maybe it's not really different, but I could see how it might feel that way.
When you do porn, you have sex on a set with a professional crew, other people that are being paid to be there and do a job. Together, you create a product(scene, dvd, etc). But when you provide, you are literally only being paid for sex. The other person is there for their own needs, not as a fellow co worker.
There is a different kind of emotional space that filming a scene might provide. When she has sex for the camera, she might feel that she is performing. And as a performer you have a certain type of emotional distance from what you’re doing. So, maybe, she can't get or doesn't want that emotional distance outside of a film set. Providing was too close to home for her, maybe too vulnerable for her, she didn’t feel emotionally safe – that’s where the feeling disgusted may come from. It was somehow too much for her.
Sex is an emotional thing too. People are built differently around this stuff. Some folks are emotionally built to provide, do porn, or one or the other or none at all. Not saying that Jayden or Mariah don't have issues about this stuff, but sex for money, on or off camera, doesn't come without it's own emotional complications.
And while maybe the girls shouldn’t judge or look down on people, it strikes me that Mariah or Jayden or Lisa Ann are coming from a place where the difference between how porn feels and how escorting feels are very important to them.
