Since the ability for smaller counties to allow local option legalized brothels in Nevada is established under Nevada state law and not federal law, what is the role of a U.S. Senator in this debate? Especially a progressive Democrat?
I'm not sure what Reid is trying to do, as his initial argument, IMO, is very weak...He's saying that busineeses are not coming to NV. because prostitution is legal there, and that's just silly..
Also, i wouldn't say Reid is progressive...He's a moderate democrat, he's pro-life, pro-gun, he's not a very liberal senator like a Barbara Boxer, Sherrod Brown, Maria Cantwell, etc...
