MILL VALLEY, Calif.—John Leslie, the multi-award-winning actor and director, passed away on Sunday of an apparent heart attack at his home in Marin County. He was 65 years of age.

I have just learned this news via this board, i hope and pray that he passed with minimal pain. I will never forget, i had never viewed erotic pornographic film before, i was ten years old, circa 1988, it was a staggeringly hot summer day, parents were having dinner at niagara falls, i puffed a tiny yet glorious amount of northern california's finest in my room (thank you Grateful Dead touring musical circus), and was feeling restless and anxious, i found myself looking under my father's bed and stumbled upon a dusty videotape hand labelled "assorted short stories", something inside me yearned to play this vhs tape, next thing i know i am on the rug in the living room in front of the tv goggle eyed at what i am viewing, my heart is racing, and i am so tremendously erect that my pants are tearing off, it was a los angeles san fernando valley film set (i would not have known that back then!!!) designed to mimic the interior of an airplane, which excited me as we had just arrived back from my first ever flight a cocoa beach, florida area vacation, and Mr. John Leslie had this wicked grin sitting in his seat and he said "oh yeah darlin'" and the featured actress sat on top of him and he handed her the captain's hat, next thing i know i am stark naked on the floor, the t.v. is blaring with blissful moans, and i realize that all of the windows are open in the house!!! Hope the neighbors are not having a bar-b-que next door! Hey, you never know perhaps amidst their cocktails...the funky music and mayhem blaring out of my television inspired the neighbors to galavant inside their home and cool off together in the finest of pleasureable formats!!!! ...loved him as an actor, and especially as a director of the "Voyeur" series.  A life well lived for sure.

As a young man in the 80's I used to love John scenes with Nina Hartley, Vanessa Del Rio, Torri Wells and others. He always gave a great preformance and shown this creativity even more when he started making and directing his own films. He was true pioneer and legend in the industry.  

Strangely, the part of his that sprang first to mind was his guido (his name really was Guido) strip club owner who gets unemployed college girl Tara Aire to emcee his shows.
Tara turns the tables on him and comes into his office dressed, coiffed, and talking like a Guidette.

She fucks him on the desk or vice versa, it's hard to tell, and I always run for a towel.
