I would say, considering she told everyone in the know when she was in the business she was absolutely NOT available and also BEFORE she was married, that someone has dedicated themselves to the scam. I was unfamiliar with that X profile until now, but I have a very hard time believing it's 1) her and 2) legit.

That's not her X handle, so the profile you're seeing is probably a fake.

The twitter account (@Riley_velvet) does not have the blue checkmark denoting it is verified to belong to Riley Reid.  That account only has 9,154 followers, which is significantly low for a major, long-time porn star.  And her "join date" is March, 2023.

 
Her public Twitter is @rileyreidx3 which has 2.5 million followers and has the blue checkmark. It also includes a link to her OF page. That account has a "Join date" of May 2011 which is about when she premiered as a top-shelf porn star.  

 
The riley_velvet escort site asks for a 25-50% deposit plus a copy of your ID and references.  At her one-hour rate of $800 you will need to risk $200-$400 to find out ... that you just lost $200-$400.  BTW: $800 for an hour is less than half the "going rate" for top-shelf porn star escorts. They typically ask for $1,500-$3,000 per hour.
